so when does a x-amount of limited edition steelbook no longer become limited when they keep re-releasing for even more profit i think it takes some of the buzz out of owning some of these beauty's

Retailers and studios reserve the right to hold back stock to sell during promo periods, trade shows etc, always has been this way.

I've always thought these mystery boxes (not Zavvi's in particular) were a bit of a ripoff myself. From what I have seen they usually contain a load of junk you wouldn't normally buy.

Just had a look at the website it has got a section called 'black Friday part 2' it's so far the same stuff from the other day with some stuff oddly more expensive like creature from the black lagoon steelbook was £9.99 is now £12.99?

Seems just in line with typical black friday deals... mostly hype and no substance. However, those of us in the know and with helpful websites and members on HDN, we know the deals when we see one. I'll play the waiting game. Maybe some Disney steels will fall to £9.99 .
