Product Description
THEY WILL RISE TO SUCK THE BLOOD OF THE LIVING!

From the sleazy video nasty vaults comes a movie so stained with controversy and moral indignation that the very mention of its name sends shudders down the spines of the weak stomached and censorious Zombie Flesh Eaters. A gut-munching, shark wrestling, eye-gouging orgy of topless skin divers, mud-caked undead terror and Italian splatter from the dark imagination of horror genius Lucio Fulci (The Beyond, City of The Living Dead).

An abandoned boat in New York Harbour unleashes a deadly flesh crazed Zombie cargo... A Young American woman and a journalist investigate a tropical island where a deadly disease is making the dead walk... Soon, thoughts of getting to the bottom of the murderous curse will be forgotten, as Fulci s walking corpses overwhelm the living and reports come in that the Big Apple is swarming with the living dead...

After over thirty years, Zombie Flesh Eaters still has the power to shock and offend the unwilling... Check out this classic sadist video and revel in a wonderfully tasteless movie that once helped usher in a moral panic!

Zombie works more as a prequel to Dawn of the Dead than it does a sequel. As far as zombie movies go, it's up among the best, but that's not really saying much. The script is bad and as mentioned before the dubbing is horrific.

There's tons of WTF moments. Multiple times characters just stand still in absolute horror as the slow, plodding zombie comes stumbling towards them. Characters turning their backs on recently dead bite victims. Molotov Cocktails being lobbed inside of a barn cause minimal to no actual fire other than the initial explosion. Why do Molotov Cocktails explode? Again, just one of the many WTF moments in Zombie.

It did have a really good score, though, and the American blu-ray transfer looks good.

And if I remember, the molotov cocktail scenes are just the same scene shown multiple times. Prob 5/6 times, with no changes to the barn. Same with some zombie shooting. Just the same zombie being shot.
But I will be buying, especially now I have seen the extras.

£17.99 direct from Arrow! I've emailed Amazon about it to see if they will price match, feel free to do the same ;)

I've never seen this movie and it doesn't sound like my cup of tea. I'm not really into gore just for gore's sake.
BUT. That artwork looks really good and seems to have some interesting extras so I'm actually considering getting this.

Amazon.co.uk lowered their price to £14.00 as well. They should price match me since it hasn't shipped yet.

That's the best and worst thing about Amazon. They'll match low prices but also match ridiculously high prices like for example on the Eureka Steelbooks. Would be better if they did their own pricing and stuck at the original price points i.e. £17.99.
