Thanks Choi and Tony for rectifying this issue and for an exclusive look from Korea , wish they put that big sticker on the top left or right so that it's not covering the arc, but that's just me being picky :p

Just got my shipping notification from Tony, awesome news BUT (as I am the first one to post on here about it I was a bit worried that Tony might have sent Type A so I have emailed him back for confirmation, I really hope it's Type B he shipped as per request) :ohno:

does anyone know how many will have the cover B ? will it still be limited to 100 it would be nice to know the amount for collector's like me and you ?

100 copies for Type B

Wow, only 100 copies for Type B eh? That's pretty cool since I was able to ask Tony to hook me up with a Type B

Man, now I have no idea what to do since I ordered a TW and Korea version and I planned to open one for my normal viewing pleasure. I love how the TW slip looks all sealed up but now my Korean one is really rare...

Guess I'll have to crack and break open my TW version haha

Just received this from k-steelbook:

Hello,

There is a good news.

We received the re-packed [Blu-ray]Iron Man 3 Steelbook from KD media(Disney Korea) today.
It will be shipped by tomorrow.

Thank you for your patience.

Thanks regards.

So Type B just got an increase in the amount of copies ;). This e-mail was sent to 19 people, so I think 119 copies would be a safe estimate for now :p.

Yes, as I said earlier in the thread, K-steelbook have now also had a quantity of their allocation repackaged by Disney, so Kimchidvd are NOT the only retailer to offer an 'officially' repackaged item.

K-steelbook have also put up a pic of the repackaged item on the item's page on their website, and it looks good. If any come back into stock now then it'll presumably be the 'Type B' version.

Credit to Kimchidvd for taking the lead on this though. If Disney hadn't agreed to their initial request, it would have been harder for anyone else to do it.

I certainly can't pretend that I'm not dissapointed at the news that Type B is not limited to only 100 copies.

It's so difficult to find very limited runs these days. The 100 Type B situation was rather exciting for a while. It's still a very nice edition, just not as nice as we thought.

Absolutely... +1

Why do such retailers have to copy others. Can't they have their own exclusivity. If K steelbook had nothing special this time, they could have tried something next time around.

Such people are the ones who have no brains or creativity to come up with something special, so they start copying others in order to cut their share and make themselves look at par. Gross!

If I was a retailer and I had an opportunity to make my customers happy, why wouldn't I take that opportunity?
