I'd rather pay that amount and support the forum than reschedule my time around a movie's pre-order time. Also would be nice if you'd drop this broken record every other post, it's getting annoying.

It's hard to know how something like that would translate to other releases though, I mean the leather slip is kind of fitting for a film like The Revenant, but I'm not sure there are many films it would work with or what other materials could even be used for other films.

What about a Leather version of Deadpool? An actual leather slip with an upclose of the mask?!? Texture that baby up and you've got a GRAIL!!!

Understood but in case of Revenant, I participated in the GB because I assumed the Leather slip is in limited quantity and won't be available easily when it goes live but after the GB and payment, Manta announced print run increase. I know this is out of your control but it is equally getting annoying for me and perhaps few others who paid more via GB when we could have easily grabbed a copy via the website for a lower price.

In case of FAC, GB is of course the best option considering the high shipping costs charged by FA.

At times like this when the £ is super weak every little helps, so sorry if you feel annoyed.

Opting in or out of GB and trying direct or not is always a bit of a gamble especially for high sought releases and any changes to the release once you stuck your name down and paid. I wasn't available for the GB and missed out. However it actually worked out in my favour. But then again I missed out on other GB's and had to pay a premium. You win some you lose some unless you're a complete addict 24/7 available for every preorder.

I understand your frustration dude, but as always it can go one of two ways... one being what you pretty much described above, and the other being that it quickly sells out via the webstore and the GB ends up being a lifesaver. No one's forced to join a GB... it's a gamble that you alone decide to take. Personally, if I know I'm going to be around once it goes live on their own site, then I'll take the risk and try to order it myself.

The leather slip is still quite limited and is clearly the most sought after since it's already sold out. People were always going to be unhappy whether Manta increased the print run or not... give more people a chance, or just let them miss out? The only reason they upped it in the first place was because they listened to feedback, which is a good thing! They obviously can't please everyone though, but at least they're trying, which I commend them for.
