In that position right now... selling off older stuff to fund new stuff. It actually feels pretty good to get rid of the "junk" in my collection... gives me a lot more room too!
Me2 gonna have to finality get off my lazy butt and make a page in the selling/trade page. I'm running out of room have about 350-400 steelbooks and 300 blu-rays. Which is peanuts compared to a lot of you. It's the big HDzeta's boxsets like Interstellar, Gladiator, SPR, and the Terminator sets plus Kimichi ones as well and now FAC Maniac Boxes that finally did me in.

I'm curious as to what the price differential will be on OC direct vs GB.
Dramatic or minimal?

About 15$ for a one click
If paid with PayPal (no creditcard) it costs another ~4$ per 100$ extra due to the paypal exchange rate(€ / $)

Im glad i joined GB.So its cost me few extra £.I'd rather do that an secure a copy than risk not getting it at all.
Those that moan about GB fees ask yourself how many releases have you missed out on taking that risk on pre order day??
If it wasn't for this forum theres a few releases you probably would not have in your collection. Its up to us to help this forum run.And paying few extra £ to secure a copy and help with forum is a small price to pay rather than pay £££££ on ebay

I don't moan about 2$ per steelbook. The paypal fees are a bit annoying.
Without direct shipping, a GB is about 30% $$$$ on top. So in most cases, I can get it for the same or less on ebay. ;)

Paypal fees are important to keep all parties safe when something go wrong so it's well spent money for your security.

Advantage of a GB is, beside the support of your favorite Pop Culture source, that the GB host is a collector with experience so he inspect your copies for damage and handles and ships them with most care.

Just noticed that they increased the one clicks to 700 o_O how am I supposed to get a low matching number with that amount of OC :arghh:

Same here. Saying that, my Steelbook buying has dropped SIGNIFICANTLY since I purchased my scooter and photographic equipment. I spend a lot more time enjoying the great outdoors rather than plonked down in front of my projector screen.

Always a good thing.

I hardly have time to watch the films in my collection anyway. Just like collecting premium packaging in all honesty lol ... no different than collecting coins or stamps if you ask me !

Good comparison. Or collecting books. I may not watch movies as often as I used to - but I like having a killer library.

Makes it more difficult to continue the Mantalab collection as it gets very expensive double dipping on premium Asian steels.

I thin I will have to stick with the HDZeta BvS and Deadpool Kimchi unless this premium slips on Deadpool are better than Kimchi's.

No more of joining Manta GBs for me unless the print run is under 2000. Ridiculously expensive.
