I dont know how long I will do this, or if people have questions ... but I'll check this thread daily in case people have questions about steelbooks etc. I'll try to answer to the best of my ability from what I am allowed to say in some cases or just info you may not have seen me drop before in past threads.

Well seeing as how I dont know the #s to every steel that has existed I cant really tell you a title with it being 100% knowledgeable. I know of a certain title that got 180k tho.

Initially I thought Scarface but this wasn't the same worldwide so yeah I think I'd agree with you too on Avengers.

This'd be my guess. Most of my friends and family who bought this movie ended up with a steelbook because it was more prominent in HMV stores than the amaray!

Wreck do you have any contacts at zaavi to see if they can improve their packaging methods even at the cost of a bit more for steelbook collectors especially after hearing horror stories from others but given that they will likely get more exclusives

If Zaavi and their employees are even half serious about taking up the reigns then their packaging needs to be at least half as good as play's. I would call on us all to boycott their organisation, they have screwed up exclusives in the past, but as it's their first BR exclusive might give them a chance first. If they don't improve people will not bother with them i'm sure, much like the parrots at amazon.fr.

I could be wrong but I think Video Game steelbooks get much larger print runs than movies. So i am guessing that that 180K is probably a game steelbook.

Just like Play it may take some time for that to go in effect. However, I do know a VIP who is already talking to them giving them suggestions. Hopefully they will listen. No that's not me, but I might as well jump in as well and let them know. Just gotta find the time.

You're right but I wasnt reffering to a video game. In fact, the # is probably even higher if I knew all the quantities from the world over! I wasnt referring to Batman or Avengers but I would presume from the world over they are just as big counting all if not bigger.

I think with the news of HMV and Play people are looking towards this retailer to step up. I hadn't even heard of them until recently
