Just curious how many do you actually own that you open and how many people keep there’s sealed?
I assume because you sit in the dark in front of your turned off TV because you have no opened movies to watch.
~I have amaray copies of almost all of my steelbooks. I mostly purchase amarays used or when they are cheap if I can find them.
I am pretty sure that Andy as a GB host shipping hundreds of copies of various releases has never offered this service of "unseal and check"
~
this is exactly what i do as well so there is no reason to open the beautful steels in their perfect shrink wrap
I understand. I have hundreds of steelbooks and I don't even have a bluray player
[email protected]What is the email for customer service?
@StygianTypically when I purchase a movie I intend to watch it and enjoy it and they just so happen to be encased inside a steelbook or collectible packaging. ...so yeah, I open them, ALL of them.
@Stygian
Been reading theses forums for years now… and I think Kelly and I are alone in here who opens every single steels we own.

I wrote a long email in which I explained that I was not interested in a return for refund and that I was not satisfied with 15% discount. Their response was frustrating. It was basically “thanks for your question about our return policy. We will accept a return for a product up to 30 days. If you will remain with your item then you can get 15% off.” Seems like they didn’t read the email at all. I responded back. I’ll let you know if I get anywhere with it.
So that’s 4 of us lolNot true! I open up every steelbook I get, too
So that’s 4 of us lol
And you know the trick, always call around 8:30-9:00 am. Way way way less busy and they always have a supervisor around ;-)I will call Best Buy tomorrow, to see if I will get 15% instead of the 10% offered via email.
I hope to have 15% for each box.
