Ooo it would! There is so much potential for steelbooks with this movie. I really hope it doesnt have a massive 3D logo on it like Man of steel did.

A small subtle one is fine, but the massive 3D print ruined the UK 'MoS release imo.

Well its Warner Brother and like Man of steel,Mad max Fury road i have a feeling it will have the 3D logo on the steelbook

I have posted a message on HMV Ireland facebook website asking if they will be listing this and hateful eight to pre order
Hopefully they will be as I'm sure customers in Ireland would like to pre order online
I will post their reply when I get it

That would be great. Hopefully their response covers other titles as well. such as Lego and Revenant !

Hopefully some news regarding the UK edition soon now that Amazon have listed the Ultimate cut. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DEBC7Q6/?tag=hidefnin-20

Im sure both versions will be on the same disc on bluray.
I also think it will generally be on every copy on bluray, this has happened before in the UK where a extended cut has been on the disc but they havent advertised it until nearer the time or at all.

Hhhmmm from the title it suggests the cuts will be on different discs, no mention of 3D and strangely a DVD?!? Maybe some retailers may play around with this, I for one don't see the point of the DVD!

It also available in the USA with the 3D release and it cheaper than the 2D/DVD version

Note
It's been reported that the R Rated Extended Cut is only in 2D but not fully confirmed if that's correct

If you remeber the amazing spiderman releases and various other 3D releases they were advertised as 3D + 2D like they are seperate discs but the 2D and 3D are on the same disc like avatar so im 99% sure the Ultimate cut will be on the same disc as the theatrical version on bluray but will be on 2 discs with dvd, terminator 2 also had 3 or 4 different cuts on the same disc.

Didn't the Wolverine have the extended cut on a separate disc? Could be like that.

They should have 2 discs each with the 2D and 3D versions of the cut. If the uncut is only 2D I don't mind but then they should just exclude the 3D altogether I think.
