Pissed off. Mine arrived last night about 8pm (Latest i have ever received a package). Opened it up today and the condition is a joke. Nice scratch on the front right hand side. Spine is terribly mis-aligned. 2 paint chippings on the back and tones of hairline scratches. The thing looks 2nd hand. How does this stuff pass QC?

Just opened one of my copies and it turns out what I thought were marks on the cellophane are actually scratches on the steelbook :(

Not sure if its worth sending it back or not as I doubt I'll get a replacement.

i see this as an poetical movie with many parallels and allusions to our real political and social life.

it's that kind of movie where u have to use your own brain because the movie don't tell you his whole story in a direct way. if this is to exhausting to you i recommend hunger games trilogy, they speak out many things directly what battle royale only says in metaphors.

i personal like this much more because i prefer movies they animate you to think and let you build your own opinion rather than a direct story which tells you an pre-build subjective opinion.

Hope they do, mine went missing after herpes **** delivering, hopefully I can get hold of one defiantly don't want to pay eBay prices : (

The only damage on mine is a slight scuff mark near the front top right corner, apart from that, all perfectly fine for me. Nothing that bothers me enough to send back, especially when there are none left.

Very good if going by recent run. Even a big seller like Terminator was available again on the day of release.

They do sell out very quickly again

Terminator had a slightly larger print run of 5,000 i believe. Also i've been wondering if Battle Royal for some reason had a print run of less than 4,000. That would explain how it was able to out-perform Iron Man (relatively speaking).

Just opened mine and apart from a very minor paint chip on the front cover is in mint condition. I'm a little disappointed that there is no debossing on the back as that would've been epic. Still a great Steelbook though and at £12.99 I can't really moan too much.

So who is the one that claimed it would have a premium finish? I think its time to stop believing any of the hype until they come out from now on.

Agreed. This one is riddled with QC issues.

Mine has scratches on the spine. Have a look at the text alignment on the spine. It's rubbish. Steelbook is not even glossy. How the heck is this called premium finish?

Anytime a steelbook is embossed or debossed that is a premium finish. As it costs more for the studio to produce.

Has nothing to do with you believing one thing, it has everything to do with educating you on what premium finish is. I would have thought everyone would have known by now that embossing or debossing is a premium finish. Well, now you know.

I understand your heartache tho on QC - feel free to send message to steelbook facebook or consumer site.

I opened mine and can confirm that it is mint in every way, maybe I have been lucky, but I think it is a beautifully understated Steelbook !!!

:scat: :D

When reading the OP, Premium finish is referring to something else other than de/em- bossing?

Steelbook will have a PREMIUM finish and will also be embossed / debossed.
