Canada wave 2 defective steelbooks?

Hello everyone,

Almost every steelbook has a dent on the front (bottom left hand corner). You will see it after you removed the blue sticker.

My Batman is nowhere near as bad as your 2001

hmmm......all mine (HEAT, Batman, Goodfellas, Matrix, 2001) are similar and HEAT was the worst. The first batch has the dents and second batch (replacement) has the same dents.

All mine seem to be dent free but I picked mine up at Futureshop. I'm wondering if Amazon stores them differently in their warehouse or if they got a bad batch from their supplier.

Im pretty sure something like this would have to have happened at print.

I just checked my copies without opening them. Just take a razor blade and lift the corner of the sticker. It should come off easily without affecting the shrink wrap. I ordered Heat x2, Batman Begins x2, and Matrix x2, and only one copy (Batman Begins), has a faint indentation. Not too bad, but I'm going to email amazon.ca anyways to see what they say.

Amazon temporarily pulled Batman Begins

They gave my package (I ordered Batman Begins and The Goodfellas) to somebody else !!!

Contact the site and explain this, if the person who got them is a genuine guy then he should send them back, but then again theres plenty of people who would just keep them

Also, you can take a hair dryer, heat up the plastic around the sticker...and voila! It comes off easy peasy.

I purchased Heat, Batman Begins, Matrix and 2001

None of them had the dents and they were in perfect condition but as someone else stated I purchased mine all at Futureshop. It might have been an amazon issue.

my Heat and Batman begins are fine also, bought from Axel though.

my goodfellas has a very slight dent,you can hardly notice it.

Could be - one of mine appeared in perfect shape. The other had the defect, but it wasn't as noticeable on first glance.

Check the OP and i can safely say that NONE of mine have that dent on it.

I wonder if it has anything to do with how it was shipped as i pre-ordered 3 of them then i preo-ordered the other 2 so when they shipped they came in seperate packages instead of just all boxed together.

any Canadian friends pick this up at a local store and also have the dent??

Well had 2001 dented but came from Axel so doubt have any comeback but might try as this is batch problem.

Amazon.ca it's Goodfellas only. Axel also supplied Heat, Matrix, Batman Begins - checked them all - fine.

At first glance mine looked perfect BB and Heat, but after more examination,they both have a slight indentation of where the sticker was. I mean its no biggy for me, checked the first damaged ones I got and they both had the same dents. All from amazon.ca

goodfellas from amazon.ca. Tiny little dent, hardy noticeable. Still maybe have to send Joe Pesci's Tommy on them
