Looks great, hopefully mine will come tomorrow. As others have said, Studio Canal really should do the first movie as well

Mine came with paint stretching on the corners ruins it.

It was the same with The Crow

Two films i could have kept my cheaper versions for and yet went with the Zavvi Steelbook and am let down.

What's worse i cannot upload photo's of the fault to Zavvi so am being given the run around

Day 1 send in complaint i want to return it's faulty cannot upload photo.
Day 2 Zavvi reply please send a photo first
Day 2 reply explaining AGAIN that i cannot upload a photo and that i told them this
Day 3 no reply remind them
Day 4 still waiting remind again

It's rubbish and unacceptable.

right just got back in from a wasted trip out and found this on the doormat.
opened it up and looked like it was covered in scratches removed the j-card where they really have used an ocean of glue for the three spots got that off to start with, then the steel i used a bucket load of normal spray furniture polish as all the scratches where in fact very faint traces of glue.
when used with a new clean cloth its all come up like new there on mine infact not a scratch at all. i suspect there maybe a few of you with the same problem. i would highly suggest trying the furniture polish as see what happens. it did take sometime with effort and using natural light to see them disappear but figure it could be worth a try for some of you.
mine is now in its protective case and won't mark, but thank god thats all it was someone doesn't know how to use a glue gun!

hope it helps
basil

This is why I always advise people NOT to send photos at all - not ever; they only become more entrenched in their own little nether world!
They have NO right to demand photos - they ARE however under an obligation to sell you merchantable goods - and you are under NO obligation under distance selling rules (or sales of goods act either) to PROVE it is damaged!

Rant over - and sorry your copy arrived damaged.

Yeah...I've noticed that recently with Studiocanal releases, they've started to use glue on the J cards, they never used to...and the glue is like cement. Ridiculous...

Mine arrived this morning - it's unopened, but looks just fine.

I have said before, and I'll say it again in the vain hope someone at studiocanal or anywhere may read and take note - J-cards do NOT need glue, then do NOT need stickers, jjust wrap the damned things round the steel and wrap in plastic - simples!! :)

First time in a while that I've received a steel from Zavvi that was damaged. The entire box was bent, so they can really be to blame.
Love the SB, but disappointing on the delivery.

I think it could have looked great with a nice matte finish like the project pop art steelbooks.

I take that back. Finally got this sucker in my hands today and the gloss and shimmer effect on the paint is just freaking over the top cool. I have yet to see any pictures that actually captures the true beauty of this steelbook. Steelbook of the year candidate.
