Damaged SteelBook™ (From Retailers/Accidents) Sympathy & Venting!

It looks like our former thread has become unavailable, so I am posting a new one. Feel free to post pics and share your worst experiences with damaged Steelbooks as received from retailers. I've stickied this one for now.

Never understood Amazon IT. They just stack all the steelbooks in a box with out any protection. Im on their 3rd replacement and its the same result.

I can second that!! I ordered "Shoot em Up" twice (its only 9€ over there I think) and it came dented every time. I was happy that the Apocalypse Now steel was fine though and they apparently just treated the Shoot em Up like packing material/protection for that more expensive one

feels like it but there is like paper inside too, haven't open it yet and it was bollyretails that got me this and they said they packed it well,

just had the 3 batman steels from amazon ca and the top two put huge dents in the bottom one because of bad packing so was gutted but very pleased with their customer service new one sent out foc and i get to keep the old one

Oh no i´m sorry to hear that but it´s good if you can take it with humor.

From experience it's not their packing that's at fault, but the box that it comes in. Mine was cracked and apparently that's how they receive some from the distributors. Any problems then let BoyToy on here know as he is BollyRetails and he might be able to do something.

Just had Crank from Germany turn up. The person sent it in a normal freaking envelope, no packing nothing. The envelope was ripped in a few places, but when I open it, not a scratch or ding. But the disk is loose and rattling around. Bought this on eBay,never again.

At least they arrived safe and sound! The external packaging didn't looked good at all, but there was some protection neverthless. I'd rather have this than JB-Hifi packing, what a nightmare!

Thanks guys and true i rather have this one too, but to be shipped through the world i want at least a box ore thicker cardboard when its from a company

My Dhobi Ghat arrived today super packaging in bubble wrap enclosed with hard card contents are mint but the box set itself is not the best to say the least . I think it was like this when they sent it out as it could not have happened with all the protection? The plasic is really brittle and a flick could snap it

not too bad....90% dent-free rate....is very good. Imagine if you order 1 and that was dented... 0% rate
