Should be since the Uk is also having the same artwork.

They have similar artwork, but the UK and FS steels aren't the same.

i was suprised that JAWS had similar, yet differing steels. the back of the UK version i bought was just solid blue. i've since seen some where the back had the light float chrissie held onto. in that case, i wish they were all the same, as i feel a little cheated i didn't get that version. at the same time, had i gotten that one and knew of the solid blue version, i more than likely would have been pumped about it.

regardless, differing versions is only good to me if its available in the format you require. otherwise, i guess i'm happy with what i got.

I am going to assume the US is not getting a Django steelbook because the Futureshop version has the bilingual text on it and you'd think they'd get the same one.

It has been stated that people assumed it would be BBY, when it was actually stated that US was getting a steel. There is still hope of Target or Walmart getting this. Is FYE still open?

i have one FYE at 2 minutes from my job! new stuff its so expensive, not wonder there a few now...i think they must get the most money from used stuff....

I have only ever known FYE to sell 4 steelbooks, and two were from the HP series, so not likely to be the retailer to sell this. I think Target is the only other possibility, but Best Buy is still most likely if there is a steel because Best Buy's website is so disorganized.

i made a comment about calling best buy earlier that i'd like to clarify.

when i called best buy, the person i spoke to looked on their computer, which i assumed is beyond the simple bby.com for info. looking at that she said their was no information about a steelbook. she did, however, say that with best buy it was way too early to know anything for certain. this coming from an employee.

also contacted their 'chat' service online asking the same question and was told their was no steel coming. i'm assuming assumption on the part of the best buy chat dude as they must have looked at the same info the store employee did. due to the store associate stateing what she did, i feel confident it's just too early to know. and really, working in retail, we rarely know what we're getting until it shows up. once it's scanned in the info shows up.

i think potentially with the enormous reception of zero dark thirty steel, the potential sales of les miserables, bb might notice the nice sales margin and push for django to be released if they can notice the potential cash cow this can bring

Having said that, one would also assume that BBY would work with someone that could move 70+ units for them.

I was told they don't deal with resellers, even ones that move items close to cost.

Point being, they don't seem to "get it", just in general.

I never said who would have it ... I said a US steel was all.

And as for now... I Cannot comment.
