First and foremost, I'm going to admit that I saw this last Saturday with a lady friend of mine...The film itself wasn't terrible, but it doesn't deserve the ridiculous amount of money it's made already- the 18 rating wasn't necessary, and the sex scenes really weren't that hardcore.
What I will admit to though- the soundtrack to the film is actually very good, to the point where I've contemplated buying it (even typing that has made me feel dirty...)

I agree, sex scenes were very tamed I found and soundtrack nice indeed, movie starting in a very powerful way with ''I Put A Spell On You'' by Annie Lenox and she sounds SO POWERFUL on this remake of the song and her performance of it at the Grammy was so sick, I didn't know she had that much of a powerful voice. This movie was the most anticipated movie and this was because of the books were/are so popular, sold 100 millions copies in the shortest amount of time, meaning fastest selling book ever if I read correctly in an article. So people loved the book so much that all we wanted and couldn't wait was for this movie to get released... it's going to 5AM and I am still caught up reading the second book can't put it down...

movie was very well cast, loved Marcia Gay Harden as the mother...

When Christian Grey refers to 'Mrs Robinson', I couldn't shake the thought of Anne Robinson being his older mistress (think the reference will be lost in translation if you're not from the UK...)

Agreed #1 (I Put a Spell on You-Annie Lennox) and #10 (Beyonce Fifty Shades version of Crazy in Love) are favorites for me. Soundtrack is way more passionate and sexy in parts than 'cautioned' film, imo.

If 50 Shades Of Horny Middle Aged Women is getting a steelbook, then I want a steelbook of this too. I think its only fair:

Haha, have it on HD DVD but not seen yet. Feel free to start a Steelbook feedback thread for title. It's not as "commercial" with resources and marketing power behind it but you never know it could still appear perhaps in Germany or France. Good luck!

I don't really understand why there is a big issue with this getting a Steelbook release, variety is a great thing where Steelbooks are concerned in my opinion.

Oh Yeeesssss Crazy In Love Revamped is Haunting ! ...it's even better than the Original IMO, it is so Sexy, Dark and Sensual...the scene without that song would not have been as gripping...I have to get this now.
