Great to see Platoon getting a steelbook release. That movie was a real game changer when it comes to war movies. It really deserves a steelbook release (as does Thin Red Line).

Robocop will likely be the cut edition again, which is a shame.

Sounds great but whats the chances that these will all be ways of getting rid of old stock like the previous fox play.com wave, i remember that my braveheart had a disc 1 dvd, and a disc 1 blu ray printed on the discs...

but silence of the lambs... Oh yes!

if they use the same from long ago when originally proposed then I pretty much like all except Firefly was the original. I have actually never seen firefly but liked Serenity so ill blind buy regardless i hear nothing but good things.

Will doubtless get them but if they are doing huge print runs of each, and if they are doing Star Wars it will be massive, then they are nailing their own coffin.

Any ideas on the print number? Obviously gonna be very high if its available at all retailers, x-men an predator 2 the only appealipng ones there, very hard to cut down with all the releases now lol thought I'd be safe with Play and HMV gone/going

Surely the more they print, the better chance someone has of getting what they want. It also makes it that much harder for scalpers on Ebay etc.

It certainly isn't a nail in the coffin for retailers. The more there are the more they'll sell.
