Platoon is a classic! One of the best war films ever

I have never heard a single bad thing about this movie... I need to watch it already.

I wish they hadn't released X-Men on its own to be honest. Im really happy its getting a steel, dont get me wrong, but now were gunna' sit around incomplete waiting for the other two to get steel releases. Really wish they would have released all three together.

Anyhow, probably only getting X-Men and possibly Platoon from this wave.

I have never heard a single bad thing about this movie... I need to watch it already.

It's a very realistic account of Stone's days in Vietnam during the 60's when he was a young "grunt". It's up there with Apocalypse Now & The Deer Hunter as what the effects of war does to you both on and off the battlefield.
