Lentil is clear and has reasonable depth.
Steelbook has a very nice quality matte finish.

It’s not that I personally wasn’t paying attention to the release date. Zavvi stated on Twitter that the release was TBC and there was no mention of them saying ready to be shipped when they made the listing live and a big thing about it on Twitter. I think they were being crafty personally

When do they usually do this, announce, go live and then ship a few hours later. Never

The "TBC" is what had me doubting it too, plus the fact that it was listed as a pre-order. So I don't think anyone can be blamed for not expecting them to ship so soon due to those reasons.

Hell, even Zavvi themselves admitted that they messed up lol...

But anyhoo... received mine this morning also. I'm happy with it overall and am glad I can finally get rid of that godawful WWA steel. My only disappointment is that there's no bossing of any kind - I prefer it when the lentis have something to rest in so that they're not raised from the steelbook.

See how you feel once it arrives. It's really quite vibrant and the lenti is decent enough (for a Zavvi lol) but lack of bossing does let this one down.

Can‘t believe I paid 32 pounds for that. That‘s almost a premium price and the steelbook has no boarder, no finish and no embossing.

Have to admit. Very disappointed they upped the price but took away bossing and border. Should of been gloss at least of the other parts are absent

At least it has that nice smooth and rich matte finish which I prefer way ahead of zero or streaky matte. Missing the border for good fit of the magnet is pity though it looks weird like this...

flat as a pancake. zavvi's lenti's always remind me of those old lunch box lenti's from the 80s with the massive ridges. ugly. only worthy of the fridge door.

premium price, bargain bin finish.
