I hate to bring this up again, but is there still no word from anyone about that shelf to store all the Future Shop steelbooks together? I haven't seen much discussion about that for a while.

The way I read the WB announcement on vaulting HP physical media is that they will no longer ship new inventory to retailers everywhere. What is still out on the shelves and websites are all that remains available for purchase.

Yep, it really blows that there doing this now. I so wanted that HP magic wand display with the drawer and all the Blu-rays but I'm committed to too many other SB and things at the moment. Getting one off of eBay later on would be out of the question as most sellers would grossly inflate the value of it. C'est la vie

Is this the wand boxset you are talking about - http://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B005EOU9LW? If it is, I can tell you there is limited stock available at Amazon.fr but they are waiting on word to release it for sale again at the retail price. So if you are still interested, check it often. I had asked them whether there was a recall on this product based on the investigation note they posted but the CS agent said no. I need to find that email...

Glad I got one on release day for this shelf. Really great looking and matches the steelbooks for a complete collection. The only downside is that Futureshop didn't get them sealed so I have seen a number of them with scratches, dents or dings.

Mine did as well but the plastic bag just wasn't enough to protect the shelf from scratches during shipping or storage. Those things are just so prone to scratches. I've seen a bunch of them in my local Futureshop store with deep scratches and dings here and there.

Around here these were gone first day... I don't even think they lasted the day.. it was more like half a day.
