Just an FYI...Warner is pulling out all the Harry Potter steels (and blurays and DVDs) off the shelves by December 29...so start completing your sets before that date!

Hello everyone. I am actually new on this site being that I only discovered it by pure accident yesterday. I am a major movie buff and am trying to up my collection by adding these Steelbooks. I really want to get the harry potter ones but they seem to be so expensive on ebay and cannot get them from Future Shop because Im in the U.S. is there any other way to get them? How are you guys getting yours? So far I purchased The Philosopher Stone and the Goblet of Fire and it ran me a good $78. Any advice? thanx in advanced!

Here is my advice, do NOT buy another for that high! Stick around, make friends and you can get them at COST ... until then, since your new ... get your 30 posts in so you can access steelbook trading area. Then put out an open thread stating you will pay $5-6 above cost per steel for someone who will help you. I'm sure one or a few of our helpful Canadian members would try to help you score some if not all.

If your a big movie buff like me, you'll hit 30 posts in no time. WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!

Actually they will stop shipping them. So store stock will remain until "OOS" .. in this case tho, these steels are now OOP tho as well ... once they are gone, they're gone.

I'm trying to find some clean copies of this in FS stores but most of them have that nasty white line on the right side because they made the backer cards smaller that the steelbook...and for some reason all the sides have a rip...maybe because of the metal slots where FS displays them or someone was cutting all of them...anybody has the same problem? It's the third FS I went to and they all look like they have the same problem...

5-6 Stores I've been to have ALL the same problem. Thought, today I saw one with that mark, but it doesn't seem to affect the steel, but only the wrapping!

thanks, Drum, good to know...we had news before that some are intentionally denting or scratching store copies so they will have mint ones! I'll try another one later tonight...just don't like the rip on the spine especially if you are keeping it sealed.

Picked up all 8 FS steels from a fellow member today. All mint and they're stunning. Absolutely love the finishes on them. Anyhow, noticed something on my copy of OOTP.

Anyone know what this 'mark' is? The shrinkwrap looked quite tight but it came off like usual so it wasn't 'stuck' yet there is a square mark on the steel from where the sticker was on the shrink and it won't come off. It's bizarre, never seen anything like it before. It almost looks like the paint hasn't applied properly yet it still looks 'glossy' just that when angled in the light you can see the marks. Any ideas on things to try to get this off?
