Hey guys!

I am starting a new thread for this year-feel free to chime in with any horror/thriller/suspense flicks you are watching for Halloween (all of October). Can be any format, and from any time period.

Share your thoughts and let us know what's you're checking out!

And...feel free to share your personal top 10 list of favorite horror flicks of all time!

Have fun,
DB

Yeah I'm old enough to remember Dee Snyder in Twisted Sister ... but back to the plot

Carrie (as you can tell) and indeed most Stephen King films, The Thing, (original) Freddie films and Hellraiser. Prefer the odd scare rather than the blood and guts of Saw, even though I have seen most of them.

I need to watch my HD DVD of 'The Thing' again, amazing transfer for older flick. And a creepy one, to boot!

Yeah, just watched 'The Shining' the other night for the first time in HD DVD-great transfer as well!

Difficult to list as theres so many but my top ten would be these. They are not in any order apart from The Shining being number 1!

The Shining,
From Dusk Till Dawn,
Fright Night,
Fright Night Part 2,
Stepfather,
Prince Of Darkness,
The Fog,
Valentine,
Vacancy
Halloween 3- Season of the Witch.

I am on a roll with my Blockbuster mail membership and Netflix streaming, LOL! Next up for me, will probably be 'Sixth Sense' and 'Basketcase'...both of which I've seen, but I'd like to rewatch:)

Of course if you want a romp how about The Frighteners that's a classic all it's own.

I couldn't agree more surfury, The Frighteners is great fun! I watched The Uninvited the other week. It was decent with a good twist and it has Emily Browning in it!
