What on earth is that digipack? That looks literally like a single piece of thin cardboard holding the discs, the paper even curves in that rendering
Other than that really cool packaging!

Yeah- I already had a problem with them previously grouping the first three together and calling it a trilogy.
(really, only 1 and 2 are canon for me)
I think it's because those are the 4 that were released theatrically and involved the original creator, clive barker. All the rest were direct to video, and he wasn't involved again until the reboot last year.

4 is both is a direct sequel and prequel to the other 3, so I guess it fits okay. I can't remember it well tbh, so I can't remember how well it ties off the story. It's odd they've suddenly included it now, but never before.

There will also be a separate Blu-ray Limited Edition release

HMV had listings for both the 4K UHD and Blu-ray editions yesterday but have been removed for now

They had a pricing error on the UHD listing £29.99  it won't be that price
HMV Blu-ray limited edition price listed was £59.99

New extras here

Hellraiser:
  • Power of Imagination – brand new 60-minute discussion about Hellraiser and the work of Clive Barker by film scholars Sorcha Ní Fhlainn (editor of Clive Barker: Dark Imaginer) and Karmel Kniprath
  • Unboxing Hellraiser – brand new visual essay celebrating the Lament Configuration by genre author Alexandra Benedict (The Beauty of Murder)
  • The Pursuit of Possibilities – brand new 60-minute discussion between acclaimed horror authors Paula D. Ashe (We Are Here To Hurt Each Other) and Eric LaRocca (Everything the Dark Eats) celebrating the queerness of Hellraiser and the importance of Clive Barker as a ***** writer
  • Flesh is a Trap – brand new visual essay exploring body horror and transcendence in the work of Clive Barker by genre author Guy Adams (The World House)

  • That Rat-Slice Sound – brand new appreciation of composer Christopher Young’s scores for Hellraiser and Hellbound: Hellraiser II by Guy Adams
Hellraiser 3:
  • Previously unseen extended EPK featuring interviews with Clive Barker and Doug Bradley
And of course the disc with the 4th movie, which has new extras as well.

I didn't count new commentaries by 'some guys'...
Actually all the new extras, except more found old interviews, are some 'appreciations' and 'discussions' by unrelated to the movies people.

So the new box is missing 7 and a half hours of substantial documentaries and works.

The 200-page book has been given a new name, but is likely the same, at least authors are named the same, as in Scarlet box:

200-PAGE BOOK – ‘DAMNATION GAMES’ – LIMITED EDITION EXCLUSIVE:
•Exclusive 200-page hardback book with new writing on Hellraiser and the Barker universe from Barker archivists Phil and Sarah Stokes – including chapters looking at Barker’s early work, the genesis and production of the first 3 films in the Hellraiser series and much more, all illustrated with stills and rare material from the Barker archive

It'll also be missing:
20-page booklet featuring never-before-seen original Hellraiser concept art
•Limited Edition packaging with new artwork from Gilles Vranckx
•Set of 5 exclusive art cards
•Fold-out reversible poster

So basically I'd just buy the 4 discs separately in a cheaper edition, but not sure how much cheaper it'll be.

Placed an order for £29.99 , and payment ( via PayPal ) has gone through , but when I click on the order I get an error message , but may be because they’ve pulled the listing
