I didn't like Oldboy much, but I love I Saw the Devil. Take that for what it's worth...

I saw the devil is much better than Old boy....

didn't know its possible not to like oldboy (the original one, not the poor hollywood remake) but yes you should skip this one than imo, both movies deal with the revenge theme in a very similar way.

I actually like revenge theme but Oldboy just didn't do it for me, clever idea but wasn't a fan of the plot
And after finding quite a few people this past hour who like this better than Oldboy, I think I'm gonna give it a try

Love this flick and as I'm a huuuuuge Korean movie buff and even though I already own both cuts of the Korean LE one I think it's safe to say I will 'for the 1st time in over a year' get this Zavvi/UK release, will make an exception this time but also hope it gets a release in Korea too so that KimchiDVD spoil us with their exclusive goodies

As much as I would finally like to see this movie, I don't like the artwort. And considering the 2000 print run, I guess the price will be 14,99 or even 17,99, which is too much for me.

This movie is awesome. If you like Old Boy. Then you will love this movie as well. Not for the faint hearted tough.

But that artwork is severely disappointing! There are so many great posters available to work from! So many amazing visuals, and that's what they come up with?

I've always meant to see this film as I've always heard great things about it and I know I'd probably like it.

However, I'm not going to be sucked into another 'ltd to 2,000 copies' frenzy this time until I know exactly what I'm getting for my buck.
Another €20-€22 for a cheap matte finish (and let's be honest this choice of artwork and a matte finish would look very undesirable) would be a rip off IMO.

Lets Hope Zavvi give more (and accurate) information this time round, so we know what we're getting beforehand.

Waited with baited breath for the art to be revealed, and yet again Zavvi have utterly disappointed me. That art is beyond poor. 2000 Print run after the disaster that is Stargate also won't sway me.

GET IT RIGHT NEXT TIME ZAVVI!

Hope Tony decides to do this at Kimchi.
