can we get the mods of this forum to start putting in some rules like they did with the spoiler tags in the " new steelbook acquired " thread .. coz all this bitching and fighting is getting ridiculous .. i dont know about you ... but when i see a new post on any of these threads .. i want it to be about the steelbook or details about the disc .. special features ect ... not these mini opinionated wars ...
perhaps the mods could move those angry arguing posts to their own " moaning , fighting" thread and let it continue there ...

ive seen so much talk about how this forum is better and treats members better than other forums .. but seriously ...i havent seen much in this thread lately nor in a few others recently ....

People will give their opinions .. ive just given mine .. its human nature .. but must we be so freakin sensitive about what someone says online ...

id love to see what cover art they come up with for this movie ...
i love the indy movies .. even this one has its merits

Naw Im just done posting around here for the sake of hanging out and posting. This last little stint has me done. Im tired of the B.S and being unable to post without some yahoo yammering and imposing there objection or distaste to my opinion when I almost-always respect everyone else's opinion. Sure once or twice I was wrong in this way but mostly Ive been pretty good about it. Ive been more than a contributing member around here and if I cant post my opinion without it being attacked every second post then well then, I guess thats'-that. Or the mods coming in and deleting this post which they inevitably will.

Ill only be posting when I need to and Im done helping strangers on here. I have literally helped 100's of HDN members on here with every random request they have thrown my way. Never said no. All the buying, driving, packaging and shipping things for them for years without asking for a single penny on top for any of it. So many of them never even heard from again or even get a thanks. I guess thats how it is these days... people use you and move on. No one cares.

Im just done. I have enough friends I have made over the years in the hobby that I dont need to deal with this B.S. anymore and can just chat movies n steels with them elsewhere.

Jay, the people involved don't speak for the entirety of HDN. I know many of us appreciate everything you've done for the community, and I certainly enjoy your company on the boards. While this whole incident has also annoyed me, I'm not going to let it ruin my day and change my views on HDN... I respect this site and the majority of its members a hell of a lot! So please stick around buddy... you'll be missed if you don't.

I'm done with the matter now anyway. It started as just a conversation between two friends that I didn't expect anyone else to take much notice of, but obviously got way out of hand. Apologies to anyone I may have offended or upset... I honestly meant no harm.

guys/gals, the Internet is filled with people who will most likely not have the same likes/dislikes. However, we try to maintain a fun community where opinions and disagreements can be shared without everyone jumping down each other's throats. With that being said, forgive and forget life is too short to be upset. Plus it is FRIDAY! :oohyeah::boobies::cheers::shots:

I dread to think what's going on in this thread. I haven't been on this one for a while and thought I pop in to see if theirs any new info and it all seems to be bickering! Can't we all just agree to disagree and just enjoy our steelbook passion together in an harmonious way!

So any news on the steelbook?
 
I know exactly how you feel. This post of mine is probably going to get deleted anyway, but hang in there bro! That's why I cut down on my posting and sharing pictures. When I'm really bored, then that's when I sneak in a posting :)

I won't mention name, but a friend asked me to help another member on here recently. I asked for that person's name to make sure he/she is not on my ignore list. Fortunately, the member was not on my list so I was more than happy to help a fellow member out. When I see people with different take in collecting like myself, then they get on my ignore list. Why should I help someone with different view on "collecting steelbook" right? Some think I"m stupid for paying $300 for a steelbook, then why should I associate with that person?

Anyhow, keep in touch and I hope you continue to help those who deserved it. :scat:

As for Indiana Jones, I'm still debating if I should pre-order them. Do I really enjoy this movie that much? LOL... So far, this series steelbook is the one to own for Indiana Jones fan.

I for one miss Mayflowers more prominent postings and would miss yours as well Jay ... dont let the small disagreement here and there deter your activity here. I say do what May has suggested. If you get "into" with people on the regular just add them to your Ignore List and all the threads then are just as peaceful as ever. We do try to curb the negativity tho as much as we can ... but I'm sure you two can both realize its a daunting task.
