I'm not going to lie, that's the first thing that came to mind also. As soon as I saw this I went to ebay and did a search for IM steelbook as I remember seeing a similar steelbook. It is reminiscent of the futureshop version. I guess we all have knee-jerk reactions because it's blufans, but I do wish the design was more exclusive and unique. Was it really that hard to create a design that was in no way similar to other versions? I will buy this of course but I wish the design was more distinguishable. Sorta like how the new blufans WallE that's coming out looks nothing like the other WallE steelbooks that are out now.

From what I understand, Marvel is very hard to work with and very reluctant to approve anything different (kind of ironic since Marvel made their name based on creating cool artwork in the first place). So it's not likely a BluFans thing as much of a Marvel thing. Marvel wants all their Steelbooks to look the same.

Pretty much what I have heard.

Marvel are apparently extremely hard to get them to change a design of the actual Steel which is one of the reasons they have some amazing Slips.

@Jericho @pdbluray

Actually that's not the problem. The problem lies with some of the early Phase 1 titles are PARAMOUNT to some affect still. Disney Bought Marvel and then lawsuits broke out between Disney and Paramount over those titles. So there is no way for Paramount to go back and get any new art approved as then Paramount would have to pay Disney for licensing of such new artwork to which they dont own nor have right to. It gets too messy and too expensive.

Can't help feeling that Blufans are only releasing this because Kimchi announced one. They have kept very quiet, then BAM an IM steel.
