Just devil for me...angel editions looks like nova one and the full slip and extras are mediocre at best...angel is unique and fabulous extras, especially the coin! Cant remember coin as a merchanise in steelbook since real steel blufans!!!

Really liking that Devil edition! Finally got round to watching the film just now so signed up for the GB :woot:

So I added up the shipping and price difference for ordering both separate or the double box. $24.72 for the product and only about $2.48 shipping diff. So you are paying $27.12 for a mug, a poster, a t-shirt, and a nice looking box to house both steels. So lets hear some opinions if its worth the extra. I have a slot for the double set in the GB but I am considering switching to the single editions and the deadline to do that is tomorrow. The only thing I want is the box.

Not worth it for me. I ended up going with one copy of each individual item. I'd never wear that shirt or drink from the mug. I don't like big boxes like that, because I have no place to display them.

I think im still in for the box but I do agree the extras really aren't of interest to me. its a good deal @ 27.12 for the extras but I almost rather have just the 2 editions and a nicer outer box without any of the extra "fluff"

What you basing the shipping costs on
The Box set its unknown yet what weight will be for the GB and what the cost of shipping will be
The weight Film Arena mention is not the real weight as they have over estimated it way to high to what the weight is really for the box set and the individual editions including packaging for shipping

We don't know the real shipping costs yet for the GB for each versions

Film Arena have the Box Set as 6kg in Weight with Packaging and are quoting 1.5kg and 2kg for the individual editions
The weight they have mentioned cant be accurate as not possible be correct especially for the individual editions

The GB shipping costs are not 100% known yet

I switched my order over to the single releases. I doubt I'll ever wear the shirt, I have too many mugs as it is, and the box looks too plain and bulky to display. I'd like to see more editions like this, I just don't see much value in this particular box and therefore won't give it my money.

In my eyes, that $27 is better spent on another FA release or some other steelbook.

I emailed Film Arena and said it is impossible they are 1.5 KG for the single edition. I told them it has to be a mistake. Will let you all know what they tell me back.

That boxset oh my that's tempting but £50+ excluding the shipping costs :wow:. I want it all par the mugs/t-shirts which like you guys, aren't my bag. Might as well sign up, it's pricey but it's always quality guaranteed with Film Arena.

I have withdrawn from the GB for the Box set for now

It was posted in the GB thread for the Box Set
We have until today Tuesday 16th to change our minds if you don't want the Box Set
After Tuesday 16th you are committed to the GB if you have not requested to be taken of the list for the Box Set

I will wait till I see what the real shipping charges for the Box Set is going to be
When I see the final shipping cost then I will reconsider joining the GB at a later stage if its still available to request one

I might decide to go with the individual editions instead of the Box Set

The negativity resolves around the pricing of the postage that Film Arena is charging. For some reason they have it as 1.5 KG for just the single releases. Pretty much the price has at least doubled on shipping from other releases. They told me this is the new way of their pricing. Oh well.

well if there new way of making money is going to be on the postage something tells me they are going to have a few issues going forward and they are not going to be selling out each time. unless they have decided to milk the cash cow like zavvi:rofl:

hey chip did they give the reason as to why there is new pricing e.g. new postage service better quicker or changed to dhl etc so thats the reason is more expensive or are the they just in milking operation now in your opinon?

basil

No reason. I agree it is going to hurt them.

Hi to all fellow Ninja's! Just signed up to HDN as I'm very much into collectible Steelbooks myself and find this forum to be very insightful. I'd eventually like to be able to take part in the GB's everyone is talking about... carllenc sounds great
