Me to its been along wait I hope it's getting a release by the end of month as stated really looking forward to this don't want to be let down at the last moment.

Will this be released on the date as stated above or shall we expect a delay in this as their have been delays with their future titles recently.

Hopefully it will be released on the 30th as it had already been postponed from 14th October.

Hello Guys, we feel the need to bring you updates to Delivery Dates of upcoming FAC editions as soon as possible:

JURASSIC WORLD - postponed from 16/11 to 11/12 - during today's FullSlip inspection we found that varnish is defective on all the pieces, and the whole batch must go back into production. In current operation is the delivery of a new batch estimated at 3 weeks.

BIRDMAN - postponed from 18/11 to 8/1/2016 - because of recurrent inaccuracies on Slipcovers and current interruption of partial varnishing machine we are moving issue and dispatch after the New Year.

LOOPER - postponed from 9/12 to 15/1/2016 - looking for the closest date of production for Blu-ray discs. After approving checkdisk seems the production in the pre-Christmas period actually highly unlikely.

JOHN WICK
postponed from 30/11 to 11/12 - editions that are not in the Collector's box will be shipped this year. Our box has repeated problems with the accuracy of cut parts. After yesterday's consultation with a specialist, we will have to switch from cutting each part on a special casting kit which is needed to be sized tuned and thereafter produced. We set up rather longer time reserve. Boxes might be shipped out after the end of February 2016.

T5 postponed from 25/11 to 18/12 - separate editions should be the last FAC editions the we are be able to send this year, if the printer will not get broken again in a short sequence. We would not change the Manufacturer at this time, because the risk is about the same everywhere and this technology in the Czech Republic, unfortunately nobody else has.

For upcoming editions, we plan to change the sequence of events compared to the previous model applied this year. In the beginning we present you the edition, then we start to manufacture its components and at a time when all the parts are made or confirmed delivery date of last part we are going to plan the start of pre-orders. The current year we need to finish in the existing way.
Maniacs Collector's Boxes: After today's consultation with fans and collectors we still stand by the wish to offer you something special, durable and massive with an attractive finish that will always stand behind the purchase. We will show you soon the visualization of the box from inside and outside to provide you with a fair idea of what you have been waiting for really such a long time.
We apologize and thank you for your understanding.

In my opinion, GBs should not start until the products have been produced. This is unfair for those who have paid 3-4 months in advance. This is not a sound business practice.

When the products are ready then they can set a release date and a pre-order date for GBs. This is becoming a trend with FAC releases.

Yes, for example John Wick box was paid in august and now maybe it gets out in february 2016, 7 months since the payment.

I have to be honest it is getting ridiculous with all these push backs. Anyway as it looks they want to improve that, which would be great if it works. It is really annoying when you give someone your money for a specific release date and the actual item arrives several months later.

I`m a little concerned about the fact that the Boxes of John Wick and T5 are delayed even further. I orderd all editions together, I hope they will ship the Single Editions alone and not wait until the Boxes are ready, otherwise it would be around 8 month after I paid when I finally get John Wick (if they really need until February 2016 for the Box) :wtf:

I really don`t like this. They should finish the products people are paying months in advance instead of announcing one release after another.
It`s not ok to take the money so long before releasing the product. I don´t think that this is a good behavior.
I am with 2 FA Steel in Group Buys but these wil be the last because I am not willing to be the credit giver for a company.
To my knowledge only blufans resp. the group buys for their steels have payments so far in advance. They often don`t give exact release dates and therefore I know that I have to wait. And then it`s my choice.
All the other companies give release dates and they are almost always right.
It`s my opinion.

Although i, and I'm sure others here, appreciate that Filmarena want to provide the best quality they can, ( Ex_Machina being the exception ), these delays are becoming tiresome. I feel for those who have ordered the angel and devil boxset, that is one hell of a delay!!

If these delays occured once or twice it wouldn't be so bad, but everything they release falls victim to this practice.........

I just hope the single editions get posted out as normal as I've gone for them everything they're releasing is getting a delay.

Those who ordered John Wick boxset like myself will have to wait until end of february 2016
I know @Hamill82! That sucks BIG time!:angry::punch:

I pre-ordered this 1 day after becoming a HDN member and opted to order direct with FA. Therefore, payment of 2518 CZK was paid on 18/06/2015 yet I'm not going to receive the item purchased until end of FEB 2016... !!! Say whaaaaaaat! :vomit::sour::yuck::bag::smashed::dead:

To make the customer wait 8 months to receive their purchased (and paid for!) item and to have a pushed release date that was initially set in OCT 2015 to which is now end of FEB 2016... Well, (IMHO) It's just shocking business practices being displayed from FA and surely they need to learn of how to vastly improve (and fast!)...

I'm getting tired of these delays, which is why I've pulled out of the Looper group buy this morning. How many more of the date pushes are we going to be subjected to?
I personally will be thinking twice about entering Filmarena group buys in the future. Still in for the Dredd, despite no release date STILL and John Wick Devil, paid for, which is becoming tedious

If you've pulled out of a FA group buy then your decision to skip future group buys has probably been made for you. Is Carl still banning people when they back out? Or has an exception been made because of all these delays?
