I'm not involved with the GB so can't answer that however, I would hazard a guess that the GB fee is involved in there somewhere

@CasuallyDressed

Could it be the rate fluctuations as the markets change daily ? . Could that account for the discrepancy ? .
Dunno, probably. The increase rate in that calculator is probably off, too.

Geek, I wasn't "quibbling" anything, either. Cooey implied that I didn't take the Paypal fee into consideration, which is fair since I can be a bit blind sometimes, so I just showed where I got my assumption from. I'm aware of GB fees so I came to that conclusion on my own. But I don't like that your attitude is seemingly "It's not a lot, just accept it". I'm sure if Zavvi or whatever had something listed for £15 but then charged your card £17 you'd soon kick off.

What about gratuities? Are those factored into the group buy fee structure? I've only recently begun including a tip (usually about $7-10 give or take) with my payments after learning it was tradition but someone alerted me to the fact that gb hosts are already paid a small per unit fee so I don't feel so guilty about not tipping previously. All of this, of course, adds to the overall cost of these already-expensive items but I know organizing these buys are time-consuming so if it helps these guys out a little I don't mind. They're providing a nice service to those of us who can't buy this stuff easily.

Not everyone buddy, I certainly don't!

Folks move on please. Any questions about costs should be directed to the group buy host via pm , not in release thread. Thanks!

Why don't you host a GB and let everyone pay you exactly what the price at, see how it goes ?
For cross border fees, it's stand at 4.9% + $0.50 fees apply.
So, IF you are not comfortable with the fees do not join the GB.
when previously I calculated a fees of 4.5%, I make a lost. You ask around, did I asked them to pay me the losses?

So, stop questioning the host where the money goes. IF YOU ARE NOT COMFORTABLE, STAY AWAY. That it.

GB fees is on top of all this for your info.

**I will remove your name from my GB as I don't think I want you to be in my GB anymore
