According to a Futureshop empoloyee who is quite credible, There will be a Futureshop exclusive for the Jurassic Park Trilogy.

Guess this makes up for the other copy getting canceled. Can't wait for this one! Will try and update more when more news comes out.

Six discs , what a joke , it only needed to be 3 discs , all the digital copy needed to be was a code number to allow the download (as the regular edition did). There is enough room on a BD50 for the movie and all the extras , so it should have been a G2 which can hold 3 discs Oh and you paid $10 more for it over the silver box set which is well done. Sure I would have prefered a G2 steel but the regular silver box is just fine, and by not buying the G1 I'm one of the army of collectors that tell the Studios to go **%#@+==**

I think it's every person's prerogative as to what they were planning to purchase, or what their $$$ limit was-I paid a little extra and stuck with the G2 Media Markt Steelbook Exclusive, as I do not support G1 Steelbooks,either. And I hope we see more G2's in the upcoming FS slate.

this so called metal pack feels so flimsy in your hands. would not take much to damage this at all.

It would be interesting to see how limited the steelbook is? normally the negative remarks of the product comes out during the first week of release and a different story once its Out of Print.

Very easy to determine.

Both Jurassic Park and The Incredibles were released today. At the futureshop next to my place, there were plenty of Jurassik Park, in the entrance and shelves. The Incredibles is sold out online, and there were only 5 copies left of The Incredibles (which I've purchased obviously )

I was in store picking up American History X steel book and saw this one sitting there as well. Very disappointing steel book IMHO. It was flimsy and just overall "unimpressive".

I would not recommend this one to anyone.

The German one is definitely the one to own. G2 = Winner. Even if it's a jumbo.

does the FS release look any different from the US best buy release? (I know that Future shop is owned by Best buy, but i was just curious of there was any difference)

My advice: stay away from this one and get the German one if you can! Comparing the two, the FS/Best Buy ones look uber cheap, and expensive!

The only problem with the German one it isn't 7.1 DTS Master. It's 5.1, unless you just swap the discs if you already have the films.

Yeah I guess. No need to get the FS one tho. Just get the German Edition and the regular trilogy on blu ray, it's like 50% of the price of the steel.
