I received my copy today with, to my horror, huge circular dents where the bullets are supposed to be, on both the front AND back.

Annoyed is an understatement - and there's no hope of a replacement either.

I won't be ordering anymore steelbooks from Play, that's for sure.

I think someone's just pushing buttons here

QC still poor from Scanavo. Out of 4 copies, none are anywhere near mint. 3 copies have scratches across the front and I've noticed that the red gloss print on 2 of them has bits of missing paint (not chips, just missing gloss).

i ended up ordering two copies first to try and make sure i got a mint one but both ended up with lots of paint chips then ordered another two and they came worse so that's 4 copies exactly like the ones you got, mine had large scratches on front and the back too, shocking really considering i got four, sent them back and ordered the slipcase which is really nice, in case anyone doesn't know the slipcase has the title slightly embossed and has debossed bullet holes on the front but none on the back.

My copy of the Raid also arrived with little rectangular dents on the front and back where the windows should have been. I sent it back.

Are these "missing red gloss" over the title not just the effect? I'm yet to see mine in the flesh as it's still on its way from a friend in the UK, but just wondered?

You've just described my exact situation too. Ordered 2, both arrived with scratches, then ordered a further 2 when they went back up Monday but both of those have arrived damaged too. Thankfully 1 of them is not too bad, with only a handful of small paint chips. It's ridiculous, shouldn't have to order this many......

Yes I did reply to him to say that was debossing they aren't proper holes and put up pics of the problem

I bet most of these damaged ones will end up on EBAY and ZAVVI?

Best bet if someone wants a pristine one would be to buy a opened copy with pics to show its condition is the only way

Buying multiple copies to guarantee you get a mint one KI$$ of death
