Sounds good. There was some grain and fuzzyness in some episodes, especially some slo mo scenes. Hope that's been cleaned up digitally.

EDIT: nevermind, all the things i'm complaining about will still be there due to the tech at the time.

"This documentary was shot several years ago now (the project started roughly 10 years ago in 2002), using HD equipment from that era. Today, the HD footage just isn't as sharp or clean as something shot today. As such, while this new transfer does boast a cleaner, more subtlety detailed presentation, it's also dragged down a little by age. Motion blur is detectable throughout, some noise is visible, and the image doesn't quite pop off the screen."

Now if you watch the same people's latest work, in the new series BBC The Hunt ... it's a cinematic spectacle! Almost looks fake, but it's not! the cameras are just toooo good now :D I think they film in 8k RAW and down convert it to HD so there is ridiculous amounts of data being captured in each clip.

Price is mad
I know it's 6 discs and I did not expect the usual $36 - $40 price range like other steelbooks as they are only 1 or 2 discs
I expected the price to be around $50 to $60 but $102.99 is way overpriced

I would not had the funds available on Saturday anyway but even if I did I'm not paying that price especially as I already have the UK Blu-ray Box set
I was willing to get this if it was still in stock from the 18th Dec which I expect it will now with the price they are asking but no way will I be ordering this at a price of $102 + Shipping which will be more due to the book
I expected the price to be around $50 and would have been willing to order at that price and in my opinion is what the price should be

I expect this will be getting a UK exclusive steelbook release in 2016 from either Zavvi or HMV as it was part of the poll we done recently so I will wait for that release and expect the price to be more reasonable but of course it won't have the beautiful Full Slip or Lenti packaging that this one has

It's strange also the pricing the Full Slip and Lenti are both $102 but the full slip only has the 100 page book yet the lenti that don't have the 100 page book but is the same price

I'll pass. 103 USD is way too much for me. I already own the regular german Boxset and its available for 20-30 EUR.
The Full Slip and Steel looks good but not good enough for that amount plus shipping.

And PA announced Imitation Game and Om Shanti om/Becoming Jane for December 24, I will safe my funds for them.

BONKER PRICING :stop:

When you see that in 2014 DvdPrime sold the boxset of The Paradise (Also a BBC's series) for only $40 (2 discs editions) and now to have a steelbook + 6 discs inside (considering the price for a blu ray disc unprinted it's really costless) + a numbered edition (previous DvdPrime's releases were unumbered) it's quite insane from their part to ask us more than $100. :(

So is anyone still getting it? I've only seen everyone say they were out. Would the lack of sales cause a possible price reduction in the future?

I'm still in. I don't own this set yet on blu-ray and that lenticular cover looks super cool
