This movie was not suit to make the all glossy finish and embossed with the frame, so we decide to make the steelbook like the following:

Don't know why but for some reason I can't get over excited about this release. The artwork just doesn't seem special to me. Spot gloss treatment is a big plus but overall it could've been much better imo.
Out of the 3 the PET is the winner for me :)

It really irritates me when a steelbook is referred to as a tin...grrrr!

Indeed.but judging by some of zavvis outputs recently i'd say they're using something more malleable than tin
Agreed. Pick up one of the earliest steelbooks in your collection, and feel the heft of that bad boy.
Totally different gauge of metal back in the day.

Absolutely ......everything you buy as a consumer has an associated cost these days , zavvis packaging is a prime example ,its stripped back to a gram below 250gm so they fall into the cheaper postage bracket ............if you reuse one of their boxes and attach a couple of bits of sticky tape that will take you over the 250gm and into the higher postage bracket !!

Boy do i lament the day the bean counters got involved.................that's why the "steel" is getting progressively worse

Depends what you're putting in the box. The box itself weighs about 50g so you'll comfortable get a 2-disc steelbook in under the 250g threshold. You won't get a 3-discer in though.

Finally a date given for the GB awesome news cant wait to pre order this title...
