One of the most confusing releases yet with the various options and inclusions/exclusions leading to so many questions. I still don't know myself what the differences will be between the three ordered as one and the three ordered as individuals. The pics look great.

Having secured the tri pack, I am really looking forward to adding the full set of #10 to my blufans collection.

I do have to say, if I had been designing the tri pack, I would have printed the titles and stuff on the large plastic slipcase, leaving the way clear for an unspoilt continuous front slip image across the 3 steels, such as this....

For folks not getting the tri pack, they would just use the current slip designs.

Weak indeed. Slips that don't feature any special treatment and paper freebies that seem cheap, I don't understand the premium apart from the numbers and getting all of the embossed editions. The quotes on the back of the Khan and Uhura cards aren't even in the movie.

I guess if they added a card you could put your name on they'd be winning awards :D

I could care less about the extras to be honest. Give me exclusive artwork on the steelbook that nobody else has done or why the hell bother? Slip covers with an image that lines up on the spine is not enough to get my juices flowing. Apart from the spine image gimmick the slips are just freaking ugly IMHO.

That said if I didn't already have these steelbooks I probably would have snapped this set up but it would have been for the great steelbooks not the "original" stuff wrapped around them.

No added effort...the tri-set and the individual steels have no difference between them except you get the same number for all 3 in the set but the design still lines up exactly the same way.they should've done something to where the tri-set was completely original on its own and there was no way to mimic the exclusive design that never was...

Pretty sure the clear slip to bring them all, And into darkness bind them is exclusive to the hat trick set and won't be included if you buy all three individually.

some would say...thats just a little sugarcoating going on :D
I always remove any slips or wrappings around my own personal collection.I will end up getting all 3 to get them to line up but haven't decided in which avenue i will go in attaining the 3 variations.
