hi all,

I was given a second chance to get hold of one these, however his feeback score is quite low, a 5. also the item is located at Spain. When i check the bid, there were at least 3 guys who has a higher bid than me...

Do u think it is safe to take up the second chance?

Dantom-a low feedback score in and of itself is not necessarily a bad thing. I would look at the percentage (100% good feedback? etc). I would insist on shipment with full package tracking, in box with padding (you can track inside of Spain, and all throughout the process). It will be pricey, but if you have already spent a good amount on an item, it makes no sense to risk damage, and lost shipment, after it's in transit, imo.

honestly, I saw that auction with the owner from Spain. It seemed fishy to me. I mean the moment he/she put it up I was like "really?" ... because they had it so fast across the world not long after the comic con? Did they visit the con? Just seemed odd. Made me think maybe the person just selling an item they dont have. Just hunches I assumed, as like I said may have been someone who visited.

yeah plus i believe paypal will not even cover you if you outside an ebay auction. I mean unless you describe it some other way .... just saying.

if anything tell him to put it up Buy It Now and agree on a time he sets it up ... if you feel the person really has it.... request more pics etc. etc.

Not outside of Ebay-it's a "second chance" to buy or offer an item, that was for auction. See more info here.

Sometimes sellers do this if they have more than 1 qty, or if the winning bidder backs out, etc.

If you are thinking about attending SDCC just be prepared to wait in long lines. We got there at 5:30am and the doors didn't actually open until 9:30. The first day we spent waiting in lines for exclusives items. I only had a Thursday pass, but next time I think I'll get at least a two of three day pass. I didn't get to attend any panels due to waiting in lines for exclusives. Be prepared to spend loads of money if exclusives are your thing. I left with a bunch of stuff. lol

We also waited in line for 2 hours to get a SDCC t-shirt. The longest wait was in the Hasbro line for the Ultimate Optimus Prime and GI Joe/Transformers exclusive. Picking up Sucker Punch wasn't a big issue and the Gentle Giant booth. Most people were in line for the Jawa figure and the busts.

I think we parked 1/4 mile away and walked. The weather is great and the beaches are great. Nothing not to love about SD and CC.

He reply with this
" Hi, sorry but the steelbook is ready for send in a card box, because the bidder winner had a problem with the pay in the last moment. Tell me if you want it or I cancel it and offer to another bidder. Thanks."

hmmm, dont think he has the steelbook... i ask him to take out from the box and i m willing to pay for it if the box is damaged!
Till now, still no reply from him.....
