I agree.

I'm sure many Comic-Con goers opened this up and have it on their shelf at home and know nothing about steelbook collector communities. They just know they got Sucker Punch in a metal case, and are probably playing catch with it and their little brother. (lol :p)

It's a comic-con exclusive, they dont reprint comic-con exclusive toys etc. So it would be a crying shame if they reprinted a comic con exclusive steelbook. I dont think Warner Bros would want to break the trust/relationship they have with the comic-con marketing team or they wouldnt be allowing a steelbook edition for next year.

The real question is, did they sell out? If they sold out ... then you can bet there will be an exclusive next year as well. If they didnt sell out, are they able to then sell off remaining stock somewhere.

All in all, I love how this steelbook has a "comic" feel to it ... it ties in great with comic-con. It should be easy to predict next year what title(s) could get a comic con exclusive due to theatrical to home release time frames due to what releases right before comic-con.

How about a Sucker Punch Comic Con Give-away for the community!?? Your #1 spot for news, deals, trades, and all that other stuff. ;)

Keep your eyes peeled! (on this forum) Ninjas, keep your eyes peeled on the private Ninja board as well ;)

Doubt it, the ones before it sold for $398, $388, $340something and I think 2 sold in the 200's a few days after comic-con.

it seems really fishy

2 bidders have their account private with 0 feedback

1 zero feedback bidder

all 3 have some of the highest bids

now it may be a coincidence but logically if you're a steelbook collector/buyer/seller/trader/ etc...etc.. and know the worth of this steelbook and its limited number it would stand to reason you wouldn't see 3 separate accounts with 0 feedback.

ah yeah you could be right then. I didnt check that, and was merely just stating that the cost didnt seem so far fetched compared to past sales.
