Been waiting for this one to show up on WB shop, after getting the nod from Gentle Giant that they would be on there. Been two months, but worth the wait. Better than paying the stupid money some people have been charging on the bay .... I doubt there will be a re-release. Just the 900 copies hopefully .....

that's good to know since there are so many speculators around.
i'm just curious, has there ever been any reprints for any blu ray steelbooks from the U.S.?

Whenever I say something in a definitive tone, that's because its been confirmed.

As for your question tho, I only have speculation. To which the answer is no. I like many others I presume have never walked into a store and seen a massive amount of steelbooks of a title that was previously sold out at that same store. Couple weeks after release, sure ... maybe. (restocks, store transfers etc.) Months? No.

Kinda interesting that it came back in stock. Not sure what to think of that, one has to assume that they burned through most or all of their stock yesterday. Then they marked it as out of stock only to have it back in stock this morning. Any ideas? I thought it was good news when they marked it out of stock, as it meant that they knew they had sold their remaining stock. Now that it's back in stock, I don't know what to think. Maybe they just marked it out of stock to count how many copies had been ordered before they took more orders.

Hopefully, everyone that ordered at the original price gets there's and everyone that continues to place orders receives theirs as well.

Either way, I don't care, cuz I got one ordered!, big props to Wreck for being on top of this! Still pissed I had to spend $55 after it was $26, but hey, once it's on my shelf, it will be priceless;)

Folks, I just got to the site a bit ago, and had quite a number of PM inquiries. I will continue to help international members, as much as I can. If orders get cancelled, you will of course be refunded. Group buy here. Thanks all:) DB

it looks like they updated the status of the orders that have been placed.the latest info should state that the "items are in stock" under order details.
i also noticed a couple of "slight of hand" changes on the listing on WBSHOP this morning.when you type in and search "sucker punch",the steelbook is the first item that comes up on the search.so they are putting this out there to be seen and at the $60 price tag.it kind of worries me a little bit.hopefully its nothing.
i know under proper protocols, orders should be fulfilled for customers who placed the orders ahead of other orders afterwards regardless of the pricing.but somebody mentioned this from another forum that maybe WB finally realized what they had as far as "value" and in turn will fulfill the $60 orders before the ones that are less than half the price and end up cancelling the earlier orders.is there anyway they can do this? prioritize orders accroding to how much customers paid...:ohno:

the other change i noticed was the release date.they have it back to july instead of oct 14
like i stated late last night,it will be nice to hopefully see this go out of stock today and that they dont wait until the $60 orders end up bringing this steelbook to the out of stock status instead of the $25 orders.

My answer would be:
They shouldn't be able to do that, but you can never tell with companies these days.

The hopeful answer is that they'll realize that they're going to have a lot of problems if they do end up fulfilling orders that way. There will be quite a few complaints and people promising to report WBshop.com to whomever they can.

My order line had said in stock even yesterday.

I don't think they will prioritize by amount paid. Its not worth it to the WB to upset that many customers over what amounts to maybe an extra $2500 in revenue for a multi-million dollar company. They waste more money on an actors lunch perks

Yeah, that's what my thinking is too. I doubt they would go through all that hassle. But, we just won't know until all of this is sorted out.

It doesn't sound as if it would be legal and I don't believe WB would flirt with that side of the law just to make a few bicks.
I'm feelin' for the poor bastards that paid $200++ for this on Evil-bay.

If they are able to change the price in the middle of the day, making it sold out, putting back in stock, etc, then my guess is that they can do whatever they want.
