If they are able to change the price in the middle of the day, making it sold out, putting back in stock, etc, then my guess is that they can do whatever they want.

Any company can "do whatever they want". We're just saying we don't think they'll go through the hassle of getting everyone angry and complaining to higher authorities by doing anything shady.

Again, everything is speculation at this point. We're all just leaning on the hopeful side til we hear anything concrete.

My guess is that they are going to fulfill all the orders that they can, regardless of the price point. I bet they really under estimated demand for this title and realized that they priced it too low. I really don't think they are going to go down the road of selecting orders to fulfill based on the list price. All speculation though.

it was at one point in time last night.i think this is actually good news.maybe after recalculating the numbers and re-listing it again today after being "out of stock" they have now come to a point where all remaining stock has been accounted for with the orders and they don't have any more available to sell.the pre-orders are there maybe for returns or cancellations.thats why there is no mention of a date whatsoever and no guarantee the orders will be fulfilled at all for people placing orders now.
they've also limited the copies to 5 per person.

Gotcha, yeah I just noticed there's no date listed on there anymore.

Jett-I don't think "everyone" hated G1's-there were a few of us that "prefer" G2's, and some that felt very 'strongly against' G1's. But as many also said, when there is a "limited" run, people will often make exceptions, because of the low qty available/relative exclusivity vs. other SB releases.

Good luck again to everyone that placed orders-I hope the true collectors are able to snag a copy for their own collections/for trade!

And this has the best artwork I have ever seen on any blu ray never mind a steelbook. Its a pure piece of art no matter even if it is G1
