I would have gotten one of these instead of the UK version but I don't like the French writing on it. Oh well maybe the Gandalf one will be a steelbook for the extended edition.

That's nice to hear that they will be released in a G2.

Normally I also don't like French, and I sure don't understand it ...
But I really like those Steels. And The French also have a lot releases with
Dutch subs in it, such as the Django Unchained Steelbook, Terminator 1 etc.

To bad The Netherlands doesn't have much Steels tho. We are left behind.
So in order to find some with Dutch subs, I import it from all over the world
(although; mostly within Europe) And If The Netherlands releases a Steel ...
the steels abroad are mostly cheaper.

I just knew. No way Warner France, jumps from poor to perfect in one single jump. They only progressed now from G1 to G2 which is a big step from them.

Banner, French writing and upside down spine = Fail but it is as expected. Also the Gandalf artwork doesn't make sense at all in general as he ain't even an Hobbit.

That's a good point. I think maybe Martin Freeman looks a bit boring for cover artwork.

The golden banner on top looks bad

Only pre-ordered the Gollum version because it's a great artwork of Gollum. Just wait when I received it and then I'll decide if I keep it or not.

I ordered the Gollum version a few months ago. I really hoped that they would do a G2 version instead of a G1. I think I will keep it anyway. I can always buy a G2 Steelbook when the Extended version will emerge at Q4.

Don't normally say this, but from what I've seen so far I'm glad I cancelled these 4. Not very impressed
