So, we have the "Fake" and "Steelbook Price Drop" thread, but we don't yet have the thread where you post listings with "crazy" prices for Steelbooks. If you see any, post them here and have fun debating. As per forum rules, please remain respectful with each other-one person's "high price", could be another's "deal of a lifetime" score. Enjoy! :scat:

Please keep discussion to Ebay and other retailers, not private sellers.

He used his brain for that price, because if you add the shipping £1.26 total comes to £999.99. hehe

he is a member here, he has that baby avatar ... if you guys recall. I'm guessing he bought it and is now trying to resell ...

checked the Sucker Punch thread ... yeah he got one a while back. I think when tehy first went up on ebay when they didnt cost so much. Guess he's looking to cash in and maybe either 1) needs money 2) quit steels or 3) make a profit to buy a bunch of other steels releasing in next couple months. :p

Hey Bobino, I just saw another listing for a like new with a free t-shirt for 400 plus 3 dollar shipping. Seller has 100% rating over 500 items sold. Can't post link as I can't copy from my TV. but the seller is seblab4.

I just saw this on Ebay..http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lion-King-B...&otn=5&po=LVI&ps=63&clkid=2435401157145974387

This seller has sold 31 of 40 for 25 bucks. Either he's going to have alot of pissed off customers thinking for that price it was the actual BD, or alot of people got screwed.

Unless he's changed the listing since you posted then I don't see the problem. He clearly states that it's for the case only and the picture shows the metal case which also says it is empty. If people have not read it properly then that's their own fault and if they have chosen to pay the $25 for the empty case then how can they have been screwed, it was their choice.

Yes, many people do make the mistake of listing empty cases in an ambigious way to suggest the actual movie is included. But here, it doesn't look like the listing was edited (if it was there would be a date that it was edited). Regardless, someone will likely complain, and then they'll just need to open a case, but the seller would win, if in fact the fact that it's an empty case was stated ahead of time.
