I think what bothers me the most is just the price he is asking. If a studio saw that people were willing to pay that for an empty case what would the consumer pay for the blu ray as well. Disney is all the about the money. I just feel it is this type of pricing makes it even more difficult for collectors. But I will give the guy props for getiing this price on a pre order, even before he has to pay. I did not mean to offend anybody

I agree that the fact that it seems so many people are buying steelbooks just to sell on ebay is making if difficult for collectors I just didn't see why anyone would complain about this listing as they have a choice as to whether to pay that price or not and it was clear that it was an empty case.

Why would anyone buy from Ebay at that ridiculous price when they can buy it on their own from Amazon Japan?

I believe your Terminator 1.0 would probably cost you around US$50 with shipping.

There are few seller are selling them maybe around US$40.

How many versions are there? I got the "Terminator 2: Premium Edition" (same one as pictured on the Ebay link above) for 2830 Yen (around 35-40 US Dollars)? And shipping is not an issue as I find most Ebay sellers use the cheapest and longest shipping method they can find (but charging more for shipping anyway). I always buy in bulk as oppossed to disc per disc basis so I usually use FedEx for shipping.

YEah the actually steelbook is the same ... silver like, all steel. But 2.0 the one that is worth a bunch has the black slip cover. From what I know, they do not ship that version anymore.
