Wow, very cool. After seeing this, I really want to push for a fully articulated Shane figure in an upcoming series to go with the others.

YES. Please, spawnshop!! Let the powers that be know than we'd really like a new fully articulated figure of Shane. I'm one of the admins on a Facebook Group with 2200+ members, strictly for TWD figures/collectibles and I can tell you this is one of the things that's always mentioned when people talk about a figure they wish would have been made. The flashback series figure recently released was an upgrade over the series 2 in my opinion but I'm just not a fan of the "static" pose. He looks sort of out of place along with the rest of the human figures, especially the most recent ones. Maybe he could come with an alternate "Zombie Shane" head. Just some food for thought

HAY! I'M New to THe coMmUnity and Ilove THE WALKING DEAD!!!!!!!!
Ok on a serious note now, I love TWD, TV and comics, recently started to collect the figures and I love them!
Some are better than others but overall I just love them, my favourite wave is TV series 6, Hershel, Carol, new Rick, Long coat Governor and Abraham... if that's not a collector's dream I don't know what is.
Also Spawnshop what are the chances of a version of the "Too far Gone" Governor, my favourite character, just sculpt the jacket and add a bit longer hair, the new articulation and there you go!
PS: I LovE You, kISS MEEEEE!111:vomit:

Saw the new wave at a local toy show but only picked up Andrea. Place was asking 20 for Rick so passed. :[

Prolly my favorite figure so far right after the new Daryl. Gonna have to figure out a civilian gear Glenn now and hoping somehow there's an Abraham in the works. Need that A(lexandria)-Team. :D

Haha yeah, I figure I can wait. These are just barely hitting stores and the toy show was the first I'd seen em. Funny enough I told my friend I was with that I'd totally pay 20 on the spot for a comic Carl. I checked TRU yesterday since I'd been hearing lots of folks starting to find them there but no dice yet.

Hey Spawnshop -

Have you guys ever thought about doing a "budget" line exclusive to certain shops? A line where you moved secondary characters who won't make the main line using mostly existing tooling, supplemented with retreads of released characters with an updated head (like you did with Shane)? I don't know a ton about toy manufacturing, but it seems it could be like a cheap way of moving some more product and expanding the line?

Shane: Abraham legs / Glenn torso / new head
Lori: Andrea legs / Maggie torso / new head
T-Dog: Tyreese legs / Merle torso / new head
Rick: Series 6 Rick buck / clean shaven head
Andrea: Series 4 Andrea buck / new head w/ hair down
Merle: Series 3 buck / human right arm

Those are some examples. Could do a mix of the new secondaries with the retreads to keep it fresh and give it a little longevity. And there's others like Dale, Martinez, Milton, Amy, Morgan, Duane (on a Carl body) and Axel who could also fit in nicely.

So after great deliberation I'm back in the game. For a while my spirits were broken and I really just didn't have it in me to even think about collecting again. But just to be honest I missed my Walking Dead collection. I don't know why but collecting these little ***kers bring me a lot of joy. I'm planning on rebuying my entire collection and adding the comic con exclusive figures to it.

But still, **** fire.

If you're not a completist you could wait for the Michonne re-release thats supposed to come out soon. If the updated Shane's prices are indicative, she'll be reasonable.

The humans from Waves 4 & 5 seem to be plentiful and reasonable, too. Walgreens Rick is still out of control, but I am passing on him with the amazing new Rick coming in Nov.

logistically, the way the parts are molded, this is not very feasible due to cost. Although, some with just different head sculpts may be a possibility.
Good idea though.....

Hey Spawn- I got the new comic Rick and Andrea, you guys nailed it this time, Rick is a measterpiece, I really think you've captured everything his character has been through in a little figure, perfect! So good I bought 2. I guess I'll have to collect the comic line now aswell. In seris 4 I'd love to see Carl (not the new look Carl, but the All Out War Carl), Abraham, Glenn, and a cool zombie. Keep up the great work

Thanks for the heads up about the new Michonne but I actually found someone selling the old Michonne on Ebay for less than $20 which is basically what I payed for her in the first place so I just went ahead and picked it up. Anyways, here's some reviews of the new figures I got.

new Shane - Yes it's basically the same mold as before but it's drastically improved due to the new face sculpt. I love the way this Shane looks 10x more than I did the previous one. If you're a big fan of Shane like I am I would honestly recommend you pick this one up simply because of the updated face. Also, either they added nipples to the figure or I just didn't notice the nipples on my old figure. Weird.

Dwight - I really only got him because I'm planning on buying at least one figure of every character but i'm still very impressed with him. It's absolutely amazing how they can take 2D comic characters and turn them into 3D sculpts that look like they were based off of real people. He looks like he came from the TV line and that's something I really appreciate. My only gripe with Dwight is that the paint app on his stomach just looks weird and serves no purpose.

Ezekiel - I honestly never thought we'd get a Zeke figure so I had to pick him up. Just like Dwight he looks amazing and it looks like they turned the comic character into a real person. I highly recommend buying a Papo Tiger figure off Ebay to go with him though. It's only $10 and it scales almost perfectly with him.

After Negan and comic Rick get here I'll leave my thoughts on them too.

Thanks for the compliments on the comic figures guys! Yeah, I think since series 2 and Negan, we really started hitting a groove of the look and feel of the comic figures. The biggest obstacle was really hitting the portraits to get that look and feel of the character. And since we've also started doing the Skybound Exclusives, it's given us even more of a chance to do the characters that everyone wants to see!
I don't think you guys will be at all disappointed with series 4 ;)

Since were most likely never going to get these characters in there TV version it would be cool to get them in there comic versions since you guys make all kinds of characters in the comic series figures. Shane, Dale, Lori, speaking for myself and probably quite a few walking dead collectors it would be cool to have a Dale and Lori to add to the collection even if they are the comic versions and a well articulated comicbook Shane.

Def agree about wanting Dale, Lori & Shane. In the TV line especially for me. It's my favorite thing I collect and they sit on a shelf on my entertainment center.

But anyway - yes to Dale, Lori & Shane. Huge parts of the AMC story. Not forgotten, and Lori in particular has continued to impact Rick's story.
