This Fall The Walking Dead comes to the toy store with McFarlane Toys action figures of Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, Zombie Biter and Zombie Walker. Available for purchase November 2011.

Ah. Interesting take, Mikey.

Maybe they held back on Beth, too, because a lot of folks thought maybe she was dead or eaten at the end of S4 (even though we saw her in the recent S5 trailer)? That would bring us up to the standard 6 person wave we seem to be at.

And Spawnshop wasn't sure, but thought there could be some sort of variant. I'm placing dibs on Rick or Daryl. Maybe repaints or a new head or something.

I'm guessing we are going to get a Rick in his new jacket and Daryl in a jacket as variants because we never really got any figures with long sleeves before in the tv series of figures i'm guessing that's the reason we are all of a sudden now getting the Gov with jacket and Hershel with long sleeves , Carol with long sleeves Gareth with a jacket and A new Michonne and Carl with long sleeves. And Father Gabirel will obv have his trademark black priest jacket on, I'm thinking they are releasing the new Gov with the jacket and the long sleeved Hershel and the layered outfit of Carol as sort of tests to see if they can finally make variants of some of the figures they made before but with long sleeves this time. and maybe some new paint aps (like we are seeing in series 7 with michonne and carl). they will get our feedback and see if we accept the hindered movement that the long sleeves and jacket will make. idk just my 2 cents

I need more from Rosita, Eugene, Bob, Father Gabriel & Tara before I add them, even though I am sure they will seem important soon enough. T-Dog and Axel were sorta close but didn't make the cut (since their storylines are over and weren't particularly in-depth).

Zombie-wise, I like the direction of the line with the zombies from iconic scenes. The one that pops up for me is the creeper who killed Dale.

I was reading the descriptions for Rick and Hershel on Clarks toys and they removed the alternate head and hoe. As for the variant Its probably going to be ether the Rick from series 6 with a different colour shirt maybe a new Rick using series 6 legs and head and series 2 upper body or they might do what they did with The Governor and redo the whole upper half of the figure with his jacket from season 5 if were lucky.

Spawn Shop I was wondering is Carol going to come with that snub nose revolver like its shows in that display case or is it going to be sculpted in her waistband? Same with Hershel is he going to come with that Glock pistol that we see him with in the pictures on Toywiz and BBTS and such.

and just throwing this out there, if your going to start making variants of the same characters we have had but with jackets/long sleeves and such. (like the Gov, Carl, and Michonne you guys are coming out with) Make a Rick with his season 5 look (the fur collar jacket and dirty white tee). because i know a Daryl with his jacket with the vest over it will be made at some point because he's your hottest selling figure. But i'm just speaking on my behalf and most likely a lot of the collectors of the Walking Dead Tv series line that we wouldn't mind having another Rick before another Daryl as long as it is the current Rick with his scrubby season 5 look.

Yes, they both come with their respective weapons that are usable, not just sculpted in.

Not so much as "insider information", but a general idea of which characters will be prominent in the upcoming episodes. More of a leaning towards characters ..... wink, wink, nudge, nudge, know what i mean?

I'm not completely sure why, sorry. It could be that some store prefer an even figure count - it packs out better per case. It could also depend on our development schedule. If we start the sculpting late, obviously it's easier to create 4 figures instead of 5.

I assume so, but it depends if the dumb-bell fittings are interchangeable.
I'm sure you can get it to work....they are the original heads and bodies as series 1 & 2
