In season 4, Michonne has lowered her guard a bit and formed an unlikely friendship with Rick's son Carl. Michonne reveals her traumatic past to Carl and the events that lead to her surviving the apocalypse alone. Traveling along the train tracks on the road to Terminus, Michonne enjoys a can of cheese, proving that sometimes even the most deadly warrior needs to enjoy the little things in life. This figure comes with approximately 22 points of articulation, katana sword with sheath, Terminus memorial candle and a can of cheese.

Carl Grimes, who started out as a shy little boy is season 1, has now become battle hardened by the dramatic events of the most recent seasons. In season 4, Carl's abilities to protect himself and other survivors have greatly improved. His youth still shows at times, losing one of his shoes during a preventable walker encounter and indulging in a scrumptious can of pudding. This figure comes with approximately 22 points of articulation, removable sheriff’s hat, knife, flashlight, Terminus memorial candle and a can of pudding.

Introduced during the season 4 finale, Gareth is the smooth talking leader of the Terminus encampment. Based on the events of that final episode, in which he captures Rick and his group of survivors, Gareth clearly has an alternate agenda to help his people outlive this zombie apocalypse by any means necessary. This figure comes with approximately 22 points of articulation, pistol and Terminus memorial candles. Also included is a rotting human carcass, stripped of its meat and hinting at Gareth’s true intentions for Rick’s Group.

The only thing worse than having a walker coming at you is having one sneak up on you...the Mud Walker embodies this most terrifying scenario. During season 4 episode "Too Far Gone," an unsupervised girl accidently unearths a walker buried in the dirt beside her. The Mud Walker figure exemplifies this gruesome character, complete with decomposing body and a worm coming out of his nose. You can also split this undead figure in half and mount his upper body on his mud-covered base with flash flood sign to recreate this iconic scene.

Not really excited for the spring wave. I don't really feel the need to buy ANOTHER Michonne and Carl. I'll probably pick up Gareth though.

Hi Spawn! Love the new series 7 - I was begging for a new Michonne in that outfit :) just curious as to when series 6 will have the break down images on spawn.com? I can only see series 5 on there. And also, when will the announcement of the series 4 comic series be released?

Just found flashback figs RV Zombie, Michonne and Daryl @ Walgreens. All 3 say TV series 6 where shane says series 5. So series 6 has 9 figures!! They also have an art not final card back. I LOVE THAT!!! They were in an incap display of 12 figs 5Daryl 4Michonne & 3RVZombies.
Wave ratios, uR doing it right.
Paid 12.49 each, & a clearance andrea yesterday for 3.37. My first open fig!!
Also I noticed the display says series 6 but has the flashback image!!

I had no idea they were re-releasing Daryl without his motorcycle or I would have just waited and got that version. Anyways, here's some new reviews.

Negan: He looks awesome but I don't really care for his facial expression. Besides that he's awesome and really well made.

Comic Rick - BEST WALKING DEAD FIGURE EVER MADE. Seriously. That's all I can say about it. It's that damn great.

Very cool to see everyone carded.

I'm a proponent of rereleases and rereleases with minor retooling but am a little surprised the paint apps haven't been changed up (even just different colored shirts for Michonne, Daryl & the RV Zombie or something like that).

Also surprised (and a bit worried) that Wave 7 is so small compared to the others. I hope the line is still doing well. The character choices...are surprising? Glad to see Gareth, but really disappointed Beth isn't in the lineup. A little less than excited about another Michonne so close to the rereleased version and another Carl so soon. Mud Zombie is an interesting idea. I'll probably pick them all up, but again - WHERE IS BETH?!?

Always good to see some new activity on here (my poor wallet), the flashback figures are cool, but are they Wallgreen exclusive? Any chance of getting them in other countries? At the moment it looks like £40 from ebay to get one imported.
Series 6 look great, but I'd have to agree with others that Carols head looks off, other than that they look awesome! Bungee guts zombie looks incredible! So quite dissapointed to see the choices for series 7 after such a great series 6- the zombie looks cool, maybe a new Carl is good as he's changed so much since the series 4 figure, but we already have a great Michonne, I'd rather have seen another attempt at Maggie or Daryl with jacket (like the 10" version) and a better likeness, and unless Gareth is a really big character this season I'd rather have had Rosita or Beth, T-Dog or Dale, I'm sure the guys at McFarlane don't get as much say in the matter as they'd like.

Anyway I wanted to ask Spawn- any chance of doing the flashback thing with the comic line? So we'd maybe see series 1 or the exclusives re-packaged in the same style as series 2 and 3? And available in the UK!!

You guys ask some tough questions! LOL!.

As far as the flashback figures, they are basically only a Walgreens exclusive. They had approached us for some figures, but they require them in the store at an earlier date than the normal release lines, so we came up with the "flashback" release to appease their buyer, and we didn't just want to reissue the normal lines. Unfortunately, with the last series, they are strait releases and no re-tooled parts or repaints. This is basically due to cost. (Yes, even re-paints cost money, whether it's the factory haven't to make new paint masks/tampo or just buying a different color, it does add cost.) I urged us to do new parts, or at least change the paints on parts, but the powers that be decided no. Maybe we just didn't have the time either. Some stores put in orders so late that there isn't any time to adjust anything.

As for the line-up for 7 - there are still some surprises in store. But the actual choices of the main series was not up to me (except bungie zombie - i pushed for that one). Again, the powers that be wanted these specific figures for this series, mostly due to the fact that without main characters in a line, the stores feel that they won't sell. The buyers at the stores are very worried about "B" characters like Carol, Beth, Rosita, T-Dog, Dale, etc..... If they don't see one or two of the main four in a line-up, they are convinced it won't sell. Just be glad there aren't 2-3 Ricks per series.....LOL. (And I'm still pushing for T-Dog).

As for the Comic series, honestly, we're lucky to be doing the 4 per series and exclusive 2-packs. The sales are just not as strong on the Comic as the TV. I doubt we'll see repacked earlier series. Although, you never know. Sometimes an odd store will come out of the woodwork and ask for an exclusive. I do know that Skybound would like to do a lot more with it, so maybe we'll see some more movement from their end to get more of this stuff made!

Spawnshop -

You rock. Really appreciate the time you take with us here, and also just dig that you aren't only a worker bee - you're a fan of the line and the characters. So cool.

Great news that there might be a little more in store for Series 7! Crossing my fingers for Beth to slip in there.

Always interesting to hear the business side of a collectibles company. And while its too bad there wasn't time for some retooling/repainting, I guess the good news is that a huge retailer like Walgreens wants in and is moving product. That should keep orders for the main line alive for awhile.

Great news all around, and thanks for dropping some knowledge on us, Spawnshop.

Yeah big thanks Spawn for taking the time to answer us, it's always a pleasure to read what you've got to say, and it makes collecting them that bit more involving, particulary when a community suggestion makes a release, maybe it's just coincidence, but it's cool all the same! I think we're all aware that there are powers that be who control what gets released so it's great to know what you'd like vs what they want. Shame the flashbacks are only in the US but I might import Daryl.
Seriously can't wait for the series 6 figures, they look awesome, I'll probably wind up buying series 7 too if we get a couple of gret characters thrown in.
Hopefully the comic line will do better this time around, I'm always pleasantly surprised when a new series is announced, keep thinking they've been canned, but series 3 Rick and Andrea are 2 of the best Walking Dead figures to date, they have to sell well....right? I'm also collecting the comic figures now on the strenght of series 3, I have Michonne, zombie Roamer, Rick S1, Glenn, The Governor, Negan, Rick S3 and Andrea, can't wait to see what's next....

I wouldn't mind a season 5 rick in series 7 with the white tee and fur collar jacket and unkempt hair with straggly beard.

also if you're pushing for a t-dog you should if you can just try for a Dale and Lori too then our original Atlanta group will be complete!!!
anyway when do you think the series 6 figures we be on the spawn website in a multi pic gallery?
thanks for listening to the fans spawn shop you and you're coworkers keep up the good work!!!

no idea when we'll see group pics. our internal systems have changed recently, and I'm not up to date on the photography schedule, sorry.
i'm guessing soon though, because I've seen painted samples from HK already.

I think the reason it only shows 4 figures for series 7 is because they are going to add Father Gabriel to the series after we see him in the TV show. I'm just guessing we are going to get someone we never met yet in that series..

Ah. Interesting take, Mikey.

Maybe they held back on Beth, too, because a lot of folks thought maybe she was dead or eaten at the end of S4 (even though we saw her in the recent S5 trailer)? That would bring us up to the standard 6 person wave we seem to be at.

And Spawnshop wasn't sure, but thought there could be some sort of variant. I'm placing dibs on Rick or Daryl. Maybe repaints or a new head or something.
