Seen some shots of S8 in/out of packaging from some non-U.S. folks and it looks like a really strong wave. I think the likenesses look pretty damn solid all the way around.

I think this is a pretty sweet lineup (Shane and Glenn stand out to me as the best)...but I gotta ask you...is this list true? Or was it said just to get people to back off about CS5? I figured I'd ask for us all so we don't get overly excited just for an official announcement to be the opposite of this. You're awesome, Spawnshop (or Mike...whichever you prefer)!

BTW Mike, I just bought Lee off the Skybound store. Thanks for making him. If Shane is in CS5, please make a new tv version. With each wave, the demand gets higher.

I just want to say...Johnny's right. If that CS5 is true (and it sounds like it is), then that means there was enough demand or that specific-Shane. While he was still a main character in the series, he didn't have as big of a role in the comics as he did in the show, so this must (hopefully anyway) indicate that we are or will get an updated TV Shane at some point.

I picked up Morgan last night at ToysRUs. They only had him and Rick. I passed on Rick cuz I only like to own one of each character, and while I see the appeal I actually prefer the series 6 Rick. Morgan was the last of the four on my want list. Bob jumped Dale to the #1 spot considering he may be hard to find. I must say although I don't care for Morgan as a character (gasp) His figure is jam packed with amazingness! The detachable hood and back pack add so much to the look of the figure. His walking stick is great, it even kinda feels like wood! The sculpt is phenomenal!! Like a fine wine this line just gets better with age!! By the time we see Beth or maybe even Lori (gasp again) they'll look so amazing I'll think they're actually alive ha-ha. Anyways happy hunting!! (May the odds be ever in your favor? May the "Bobs" be ever in your favor?) OK I'm done. Great job McFarlane team!!

@spawnshop Series 8 is a masterpiece!! Zero complaints from me, sir! The likenesses are all on point and the paint jobs are pretty much consistent on all I've seen in person. No wonky eyes!! Thanks for continuing to improve this line in all phases. Your next task is to get us a fully articulated version of Shane Walsh. Hey a guy can dream, can't he??

Wanted to throw in my kudos as well - the paint apps on S8 so far and away blow S6 out of the water, it's insane. Mini works of art and a joy to add to the collection. Awesome, awesome work.

Also will throw in my vote for TV Shane...as well as TV Lori, Sasha and Tara!

I still have hope for a Tyreese comics version

I'm way excited about CS5 if that info is correct.

I'm not a big fan of riot gear in general, so an plainclothes Glenn makes me super happy. I think Lydia is drawn so beautifully that a figure of her will likely turn out gorgeous (also like that she is unfuckingafrad of Michonne, LOL!). A lot of newer people missed Negan, so he's a great choice.

And of course it is way cool that we will get Deputy Lantern Jaw (Shane). Gives me hope for some more of the classic characters like Maggie, Sophia, Dale & Tyreese.

OK I gotta be "that guy" and bring up everyone favorite character Lori!! I have a valid excuse tho. @spawnshop A while back I signed a petition for McFarlane to make a Lori. A couple days ago I received an update that someone asked Todd at NYCC about her and he supposedly said "she's on the list." So is there anyway you cud shine some light on this?? Last I heard at SDCC the chances weren't good. Has something changed? Also did you have fun at NYCC??

That classic character list would make for a great Comic Series 6 alone (or any series for that matter).

I know that there's been a surge of popularity for "dead/previously alive characters", so that's gotta be a likely reason as to why McFarlane's starting to make them (such as TV Dale, TV T-Dog and Beth, and the possibilites of Comic Shane and now even Lori).

NYCC was a blast! (Thanks for asking). The booth was constantly busy and crowded with fans. Todd did live drawings all weekend - Batman, Spiderman, Spawn.....everyone loved it.

As for Lori, well, if Todd says shes on the list, then she's gotta show up some time, right? LOL.
Actually, since we've done Dale and announced T-Dog, we've been planning more "fan favorite" characters. Stay tuned!

I'm pretty happy about comic series 5 myself. Its probably a safe bet the Lydia will be around for awhile if those rumors are true. I'm definitely in the camp for a comic tyreese. Along with a TV Lori. More than anything we need more zombies though. Multipacks would be great.
