I'll keep buying them anyway. Any news yet on who's in series 5? Or what the deal is with more exclusives for the year? Will there be another NYCC exlusive as well as Black Friday again? Thanks for the compliments! I'm glad you like the figures! We're really happy with the way the comic figures have been going. I feel since series 3, we've been nailing the feel of the book.
As for your other questions, all I can say is that yes, we are working on more exclusive figures. It's up to Skybound about which figure and when it will be released.
We are also working on the next standard comic release

Thanks for the info as always Spawn, I really love the comic line- you are definitely nailing them! I had to drop the TV figures as collecting everything was getting too much, I'll still get the standout figures though, Series 8 Rick looks awesome, and I heard there might be a new Daryl, cool! Very glad to hear there's more comic figures on the way, I remember when series 3 looked doubtful! The hard work on that one must have paid off

Spawn Shop, I'm assuming you watch the Walking Dead TV show? Have you ever gotten a design for a figure and something got spoiled for you? For example how Bob's figure comes with a removable leg and BBQ foot, If you got that design memo before it even happened in the show I feel like that would kinda bother you that you get stuff spoiled for you on a show that you watch. I would understand if you didn't wanna answer this question due to NDA's or whatever but i'm just really curious as to how the process works and how soon ahead you get the memo for what figures or accessories they are getting ahead of when there death happens in the show or just ahead of when stuff is announced in the show. Like how Gareth came with human remains. We all got that spoiled for us before Season 5 because the description came out before the season started. But I feel like you must have been working on that human remains accessory before we even got introduced to Gareth in season 4. I just find it really interesting. Thanks for all the great figures and for obviously giving us your ear because I feel like without this site or websites like this one and without you we never would have gotten the Dale figure we are getting.

Good question @mikeydajune , and yes, all the time. The Gareth accessory wasn't really a spoiler though, since I've read the comics and I had already seen the pile of parts in the episode. I did find out early about the deaths of last season for Ty and Beth, but they never told us about Noah. It removes some of the surprise, but usually they don't give us too much info, so we know it's coming, just don't know when. I was lucky enough to have been on set a few times, and I've seen them before the premiers, so I have an idea of what is coming up, but they don't reveal too much.

It's the same with the comic to a point. I didn't even know who Negan was when we were working on his comic figure, and then I get the reference pack of him crushing in Glenn's head....well that was a major spoiler...... But it's all in good fun. I love the show and comic, but I've been working on stuff like this for 15 years now, so I'm used to the spoilers. I guess it's kind of fun when I sit down to watch a movie or show with someone, and I know what's coming, so see their reaction.

In honor of the big night - can you tell us anything about Fear The Walking Dead figs? Are they in the works?

Loved the pilot of FTWD, I'd certainly welcome the main characters into my figure collection

Loved it, too! really enjoyed the creepy intro and the slow build introducing all of us to the characters. In a way, it reminded me of the early days of TWD when all of the characters were realistic (no Abe or Eugene types) and it all seemed like it could be real.

A fellow SDCC attendee said that he was told by Todd at the booth that there are 4 initial figures planned with one being Travis (Madison's boyfriend). This is the kid who brought back the accurate Wave 9 info, so I am hopeful he is right!
