Got him ordered already but just saw Merle in the comic shop and had to buy him, guess I'll keep the other sealed when it arrives, really cool figure, the head is amazing! Much better paint job too! Same slim packaging here in the UK. Fingers crossed for a new Daryl of the same quality....

We would most likely continue making WD product as long as it sold. Even if the show ended, as long as the accounts would buy it, then yes. But the likely hood of this happening would be slim.

most retailers order stuff based on the marketing campaigns behind it... so he is suggesting without the show the sales would trail off automatically. Comics still around tho so could possibly be a focus on that.

No, haven't heard anything about the show ending at all.... I'm assuming, like any other show, it would keep going until the ratings fall low enough to not justify the cost of production. As of now, it is still the highest rated show on cable, and they are headed into season 4, so it's anyone's guess if it will go to 6 or beyond. (Although, Mad Men is going strong, and that's boring as hell! LOL!)

Yes, a possibility that we would continue after if the show were to end. But past experience dictates that once a property isn't airing anymore, the interest in product does decline almost immediately. And as of now, we as a company, are generally tuned into properties that are live and occurring. Unlike Sideshow or Hot Toys, who can get away with the direct order products for older properties....although, we are working on tapping into that vein of collectors again.
And I know there is a lot more interest in expanding our WD product line due to ratings.

So far, I've seen painted samples of the Governor, Carl (revised since ToyFair), and the Riot Gear Zombie....and they look awesome! These will give series 3 a run for their money!

I was just checking the accessory list and, please, consider this: The Governor should come with his Steyr AUG A1, would look so badass as in the TV Show. And c'mon! Will Carl come without his crazy oversized gun? Just a knife?

BUT MAINLY:
The Daryl from the 2-pack is going to be a new sculpt, following series 3 steps, or just a repackaging from series 1?
