I'm loving series 7. just ordered the walgreens Rick from the UK. i'm just hoping when we get series 8 that all the jacketed characters or with long sleeves have more range of motion than series 6 Gov or Gareth. Negan and Hershel have a good range on motion but you cant even make Gareth hold his handgun or a rifle because his arms barely move.. Great Sculpts and Paint Jobs though. I just hope the series 8 Rick can hold his AK in a shooting stance and morgan can hold his walking stick in a good pose.

@spawnshop - I forget if this was asked but was there a reason for the change in paint deco on the Mud Walker? Think I'll end up painting it like the prototype whenever I find him since I dig how it originally looked.

I can't remember if it was AMC or Todd, but somewhere along the line more color/blood was added to him because the figure looked very flat painted all brown. They felt that it didn't show off the detailing of the sculpt enough.

The original looked so much more badass in my opinion. I'm sure others will disagree. I just think he looks more like he climbed out of a sewer lol would have rather had him look more screen accurate. Still a cool figure regardless.

Ah ok, that's prolly fine. I think if anything I'll likely touch up the eye sockets to be darker and drybrush the mud sections to be the original lighter brown.

Also is there a way to push for a bit more arm articulation on the TV zombies beyond 1 or 2 awkward swivels? I know the models are done in a specific pose and sometimes the designs don't quite allow for it but I'd love for them to at least have useful swivels and hinges like the comic zombies. I'd actually held off on the Charred and Bungee ones when they came out since while they looked good, kinda felt a bit lacking (Bungee zombie less so but wasn't sold on the headsculpt and/or paint coupled with fairly static looking arms). Likely will grab em off Amazon just to fill out the small horde along with the Mud Walker.

So @spawnshop I ordered a Series 2 Rick from a Canadian retailer so I could avoid Walgreens like the plague since it's quite possibly the most maddening store I've ever dealt with. I received this monstrosity yesterday. I've seen quite a few just like this posted in my group as well. What's the deal here, do you think the ones shipping out to Walgreens will look any better? Because this has to be one of the biggest letdowns in this line to me. For this one I'm going to try and find another S2 Rick & just replace the head since I just can't look at this thing. Sorry to vent, you know how much I love this line. But I just had higher expectations for this "Exclusive".

Why did you cancel oceilz?
I guess it's because of the size difference. That's been bothering me for a while and I finally decided to quit collecting the Figs. They are the only ones in my collection that are small, everything else ranges from 7 to 8 inches to 18 to 20 inches. I collect mostly NECA normal size and 1/4 scale, Hot Toy's, Some Marvel Select and started to get some Play Arts Kai figs.
I'll still get the 10' TWD figs:D

I felt that way about 3 3/4" scale stuff now that most of the stuff I collect is 1/12ish. Think I'm more happy with TWD stuff because I've always wanted civilian type characters and a horde of zombies ever since I was a kid. Only thing missing for me is an RV playset.

And just got the comic series 1 Rick, Bungee Walker, Charred Walker, and Mud Walker :D Gave the Mud Walker a light brown drybrush so he looks more like the prototype.

I totally understand your view on scale @ocielz Unfortunately, the accounts (TRU, Target, Walmart) basically dictate the scale based on thier shelf space and what they feel is appropriate for the timing. We normally don't have a say in that. (That's why our Assassin's Creed was smaller and out of scale with NECA figures. Walmart basically said make it this size for this certain price, or we don't take it).
