@shanerd Nice! I lowkey enjoy the way you regulate the group. Since I relate EVERYTHING in my life to twd. You truly are the Rick of the group ha-ha. I feel safe :p

LOL I can't hold a candle to Rick, definitely not as ruthless hahaha but I'm glad you are enjoying that group bro! Definitely happy to know you're lurking out there

As far as I know, Teddy Bear Girl will never happen :(
All of these other ideas are fair game!! We actually showed Sheriff Rick Grimes on Horse in Atlanta building set at NYCC - look for the pics.

Yep, thats why I mentioned to "translate it to action figure size". I also loved the look of that one zombie figure with the headshot-blood-splatter-effect, if I remember right it was with the gas station set, and thought this would also be awesome to have in the AF-line ;) ;)

Sad about the Teddy Bear Girl since IMO this is a most iconic figure, being the very first zombie to be seen onscreen :(

There is a noticeably better likeness on the new excl carol figure. Is it a new sculpt or just improved paint?

It's a complete new portrait sculpt. We didn't feel that the first Carol portrait came out the best at the factory, even though we were happy with our prototype. But for the Exclusive Carol, we reworked the hair a bit and some of the features to be a closer match. Then we payed close attention during the mold making at the factory to make sure it was much improved over the first.

Wow spawnshop its really cool to hear this! It makes me feel great to put my money into a company that would do this!! That's why TWD figures are my best collection by leaps and bounds!

New sculpt looks GREAT. Glad to see you guys wanted to make this one more accurate. Kind of disappointed we didn't get a plain alternate head as an accessory so we could swap out with the bizarro version from S6 (sorry but that one is one of my least favorite likenesses thus far!!)

Longshot but any suggestions for getting that mud off her face without damaging the rest of the paint on the face?

No, not really. It's acrylic paint, but it you use any sort of paint remover, it will most likely pull the flesh tone off too.
Best bet is to lightly sand any spots of built up paint, match the skin color, and repaint it.

Glad to hear you guys like the new portrait, and series!

After laying off the TV series figures for the last 2 waves I picked up a series 8 Rick today, I'm very impressed, will be picking up Morgan and Dale too, paint jobs are much improved, best figures since series 3 I reckon, Dale looked amazing! I would love to see a new Daryl and Maggie to the same standard. Can't wait for Alpha, can we expect some packaged shots soon Spawn? Any news on comic series 5 yet?

So, where's your favorite place to buy WDTV figures? Stores, Shows, Online?? Would you guys be interested in McFarlane exclusive figures for TV? (not promising anything, just curious...)

First thing's first. UM, YES. Please, please, please for TV exclusives.

My only request would be that you focus on characters that wouldn't otherwise appear in the main line. If it was just a 15th Rick, I'd be less inclined. But if it was a Lori, Shane, Jessie, Tara, Sophia, Lizzie, Noah, etc., just WOW.

I purchase as a mix. I do love to shop in person, and inspect paint apps (I display loose, so card condition isn't as important to me as the paint apps). But sometimes I have to resort to online. And sometimes...I'm impatient, hehe. I've purchased from GameStop and TRU online primarily.

I agree with eveverything @kassle said. I wouldn't care much for Ricks, Michonne or Daryl's. However some two or three packs or single new characters would be great! I'm assuming this would mean more and the more the merrier! I mainly buy from GameStop what I can't find early at TRU or Target. Some more fan votes regarding this would be cool as well.

I just bought my Series 8 figure case off of Clark Toys...there wasn't as bad of damage as I was expecting when I kept reading that other people did not recommend it (BTW, these figures are awesome). Otherwise it varies between GameStop, Toys "R" Us, or Amazon. Exclusive figures? As long as we can find them in the stores, then I'd buy them.

I'd like it, as long as you could get them in the UK

Oh and to answer the question, I do a mixture. I buy online if they get it earlier than shops, otherwise I prefer shops

I prefer to buy them in Target when I can. Any exclusives are a plus in my book. Especially if it gets us characters like Lori and more walkers.

And of course...I will take waaaaaaay too big a leap - a 12 figure subscription like the GI Joe Collector's Club or MOTUC subs would be amazing.

But even quarterly releases with two versions...say Shane/Walker Shane, Sophia/Walker Sophia...would be cool. Even if the second version was a generic Flu Walker type of figure (my favorite Walker)...like Tara/Lady Walker (same body w/ new hands & head).
