How do the conversions work out? Google says $55 to GBP is £34.50 but surely they use another form? does paypal do it autimatically and what is the rate? just so i know what I'm getting into. Thank you

I'd imagine the difference would be marginal. Probably a difference of pence rather than pounds.

Paypal has their own rate, but you can find that pretty easily - there are plenty of calculators out there.
