Debossed title would be better. Maybe even the house can be debossed, so it looks like it is behind the balloons. This way the raised border can be avoided.

Techincally the house cannot be "behind the balloons" since we are looking at the bottom + front of it. It can only be closer or "in front of" the balloons.

Debossing the title would be nice though. I don't think they can emboss or deboss the balloons, solely because they run right up to the edge of the steel, and it wouldn't be possible to have the edge raised or lowered.

Me too. I would love to buy this version too, but I don't know exactly what I need to do.
Can anybody explain hoe the blufans work?

Many thanks

You just need to put your name down on the Group buy once it begins. You will then have to make payment by a certain date. All the information you need will be in the group buy thread.

It has been said a number of times that you can't have an embossed Steelbook without the border, so I don't know why it keeps getting suggested. I would like this to be embossed as it would go with Zavvi's Disney releases. If it would keep both parties happy, a simple debossing of the title would look fine too though.

The Raid (play.com) is embossed and doesn't have a border.

Sorry, but you are wrong. Hunger Games District 12 FS is debossed without a border and it's beautiful. BTW, there is a poll set up just for the discussion of borders for this particular release. Kevin needs your help in the poll area so he can pass on the info to Blufans.

Iirc the fighter (ca) has subtle embossing without any border.

I would prefer this to have only the title debossed, but happy to buy it as is, debossed or totally flat. The artwork is great regardless.

Because various existing borderless Steelbooks with embossing have already been mentioned? Or is it a kind of cheating where the outer line of a logo is debossed so that the inner line just seems embossed?
