The 3D slip design has been approved. Images of that will be made public after production, which should be next week.

The 2D design has been rejected. Resubmitted a new design as below (I think?) and is waiting approval.

Release schedule for December, before Christmas.

The gift set is still waiting approval.

The plain blue 2D slipcover has been rejected by Disney. Blufans is going to submit a new one.

The plain blue one is supposed to be a foldable slipcover, first of its kind.

At least they have more sense than Blufans when it comes to this slip.

"Rejected." This tells you why they should not be having the GB before pictures of the slip. They would sell just fine had they waited. They will just poison the well of good feelings if they put out crap like this after the GB goes live.



But if the GB going live early is needed to secure the ninja copies, then I accept <grimace>.

If I read correctly,
I think Disney still needs to approve the box-set too? Can't really jump the gun on a group-buy or release date until Mickey gives the green light.

Fortunately the 3D is still on target. I can't wait to see the artwork for the slip this week but if it's poor. It's not the end of the world, it's the steel that I'm mostly after aslong as zavvi don't release a steelbook with the same artwork. Even then I doubt it will be as nice.
